Dropped the SUV off fairly early on a Tuesday morning and was told that updates are sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Called on Thursday afternoon and was told that some of the parts were in and that the tentative date for completion was Tuesday. Late Friday, I receive a call that it's completed and ready for pickup. I leave my house a little after 5:00 pm. The traffic on the highway is bumper to bumper. I still need to drop off the rental car and Gerber closes at 5:30 pm. I call them back and let them know it will be Monday. They have already told the insurance company that the car is repaired. If you are local to Temple, you know that the traffic is maddening at 5:00 pm and even worse on a Friday. They also were made aware that this was a claim that I was not responsible for due to being hit. So decided to pick up the car on Monday. On Monday, when we got to Gerber, the car was outside and was very dirty. It felt gritty like there was overspray on the entire vehicle. They took it back and hand washed it and that resolved some of the issue. It was blamed on the sap but it wasn't sap it was dust and overspray as the entire SUV is coated in it. Circumstances being what they are, Gerber definitely could have handled this entire situation better.

The repairs were supposed to include fixing the passenger door frame and replacing the door. The passenger door now rattles like something inside is loose or broken, there's paint overspray on my windshield, and the door speaker no longer works. My husband and I tried several times to contact the owner, Lenny, who originally quoted us the 5-7 day timeframe, but he completely ignored our calls and texts. No response, no accountability.
