So, listen, OSV is one of those places that has constantly rotation selection of items, so it is different every day. People come in and sell their stuff, and then you buy it. Some of the items are gently used, some are brand new with the tags still on. The majority are high-end local brands like Acne, Malene Birger, and Wood Wood. The place is pretty small, so they have a pretty limited selection, but it is all top quality. No digging! They have mostly clothing, but also some shoes, bags and accessories as well. Good news for men! They have a good mens section as well with Trigger, Han Kopenhagen, raw denim jeans, etc. This place is a gem. Dont miss it.

i have walked by so many times and wondered how the store atmosphere would be but i have never…read morewandered in the through the doors before last saturday. i am a large guy, not the tallest but with wide shoulders and a tummy that clearly shows my large appetite and love of food. normally the range of close are fairly limited when i walk in to a store. i started in the large and tall department on the top floor and found pants and a sweater but when i started looking for shirts i were to small for the big and tall department. that were pure happiness. when you for some time have been told that you are to big and we cant help you its pure bliss to hear the opposite i returned to the first floor and soon found several shirts that i could fit in and felt great in. its my new favorite shop, the selection i good, i can look good and feel great without looking like a bouncer.

Terrible Experience It was a very bittersweet experience…read more(mainly bitter in the end). It started off fine with picking out a beautiful suit but everything after was very subpar and far from ideal. So after putting the suit aside, Francis put pressure on me saying that normally suits aren't put on hold without a deposit and then told me he would call me in the next day or two. He didn't but I went into the shop and spoke to Kasper. He told me to come in on Thursday (two / three days after Francis said I had to make a purchase decision). This also made me nervous about my upcoming wedding. I asked Kasper if I could go in earlier on Thursday and he said he would confirm with Francis. I never heard from either of them. Then I show up on Thursday and Francis says he doesn't have time and Kasper starts to help me. You can imagine I'm quite peeved that I was told to return by someone who could have helped me earlier that week. At this point I felt like my time was very much wasted and not respected. Francis somehow finds the time to sell me the clothes including an oversized shirt with the promise of tailoring (they were out of stock of a properly fitting shirt). He also quoted me tailoring prices of 200 DKK and the prices at the recommended tailor were in fact 330 DKK (more for the suit due to "hand stitching"). We agreed that the cost of tailoring would fall below my budget but instead I left spending 50% more than expected. To fix this Francis offered me "credit" but I find it very unfair that I'm being forced to return to the shop to spend it. I just want credit back to my account and be done with this (as you can imagine). When returning to the store to pick up my suit, there was meant to be a note regarding my "gift card". Of course it wasn't there and Francis had to be called to confirm. Please note that my shirt tailored by the recommended tailor ended up being too short and my jacket sleeves too long. When I went back to the tailor and he refused he made any mistakes. The look I was sold by Francis isn't what I ended up paying for. I'm very sad and disappointed that my wedding photos look as they do ... at least my bride looked beautiful. As an aside, I was offered 1 drink on the first day about 30 minutes into my visit. I don't mind but don't advertise a "come hangout and have beer" vibe. I also noticed how quickly others were offered drinks upon entering the store. Please note I wrote an email to David first and also asked Kasper to have David call me before posting this... Of course, I haven't heard from anybody.

Chapeaux Petitgas is closed on the weekends, but it's easily worth a quick lunchtime shopping excursion during the week. Lots of City Sport and Stetson (the Humphrey Bogart models, not the John Wayne). The crushable models are tightly stacked on bookshelves around the main area; the more refined models are in the glass counter display, and in cases behind it. The owner is exactly who you'd expect to find running the place --- helpful, reserved, and mellow --- but he has an opinion, and he'll share it. Prices mostly ranged from DKK 700 to DKK 2500; I found a nice Harris Tweed flat cap for DKK 750. There's a stack of DKK 425 peaked caps on the counter, but you _will_ get cautioned about the inferior workmanship and materials -- it's one of those "opinions."

The reason this was so special, is because I didn't realize I had the wrong size until I got home. I shipped them back to his store with a letter and had sent an email. Once he received the hats, we went back and forth via email and he sent pictures to show which hats were available in the correct size! And once I made a decision he helped to ship them back to me. I didn't know what to expect when I sent them back, as I wasn't able to reach anyone via phone. But I was completely taken care of with kindness and understanding. I would highly recommend this shop! The hats are of amazing quality, the shop itself is quaint and historic, and the service impeccable.

But in Denmark, my Angel-faced empathy salesperson found shoes on sale for $100 and they were worth more. I would have kissed her on the nose I was so happy but I bet there are laws against that ! I have been a big fan of the brand for a long time and have visited this Archive store + purchased…read moreon several occasions. I also work with retail and Education with 15+ experience. My visit yesterday however was probably the worst client service given in my life - I can take that minimal service given since a few days before Christmas but the fact the store had two staff members of which one ignored my request of checking for a size, the second male staff talked very loudly with someone he knew in terms of going to interviews for other jobs and very clear his mind was not in the store. Anyway I asked to put two items on hold since I wanted to show my best friend the following morning - I was told it was only possible until end of day which I said was fine since I would arrive for the opening the following morning. When we arrived today at 11.01 the store was not opened and no staff in sight - we waited 15 minutes and then the staff arrived. I asked to try the pieces reserved; which she first couldnt find since he never took my name so she had to ring the guy putting them on hold and to find out he sold one of the pieces after I left. She had the weirdest reasoning for this and almost felt like this was a natural thing happening and that the dress I was planning to buy was no longer available. With this I also want to say we later visited the Acne Studio store in the city; and even if only one staff and several clients she gave excellent service and was super helpful to everyone in store.
