This company charges a fee to come out for an estimate. I suppose maybe that's just how things are…read moredone here in Georgia, but their fee is substantially higher than other plumbers. Their estimate was outrageous- we needed two outdoor faucets replaced that were leaking. Their bid of $1200 included over $1,000 in labor charges alone. I asked for a breakdown of charges but didn't really get a clear answer. I hired someone else, licensed and bonded, and the job took 90 minutes, including a run to the hardware store. $1,000 for basically an hour of pretty simple work felt like an incredible ripoff to us. We paid more for the estimate fee to Cross and Sons than we ended up spending on parts and labor with a friendlier company.
