If I could give 10 stars, I would but alas, I am limited by the constraints here on Yelp. Since I can't give more, let me gush about how wonderful our experience was working with Tamima Friedman and her team at Keller Williams. My husband and I needed to sell our house quickly because we were moving out of the area and did not want to have carrying costs piling up. After noticing that Tamima had recently quickly sold a house on our street, we thought she and her team would be the perfect choice for listing our house. We were right! We contacted Tamima one week before our move date. She was able to give us an honest and thorough valuation for the anticipated sales price of our home. Her knowledge of the market is flawless; not only did her estimated FMV exceed our expectations, she was also able to get us an offer that was above list price. We had multiple offers within less than a week of our open house. Key for us in getting the sales price that we did was the team of professionals that Team Tamima has - contractors, landscapers, staging, and her marketing team. Everyone with whom she works is top notch and fully understands the tight timeframes to get things done. Each member goes above and beyond what could be expected. Most importantly, my husband and I were going to be out of the country for the period of time leading up to the sale. Team Tamima ensured that every detail was addressed, including multiple painstaking trips to the town to get the COO, meeting with vendors to complete repairs in our absence, and promptly letting us know when anything arose. Even though we are/were in a different time zone, Team Tamima was always available and responsive. It's likely that many Keller Williams realtors are professional and well-mannered. Robin S., however, is not. When we were asking questions about one of her listings, she became defensive and so rude that her partner blushed and turned away. We were lucky- we were able to walk away. A little advice, Robin: It's good to have actual answers to legitimate concerns by potential buyers. Yes, it takes patience if the potential buyer notices structural anomalies, but that's your job. You will sell a home based on the positive qualities, not by deriding customers who notice the negatives. Becoming defensive and telling the potential buyer to 'move on to another house if you don't think this house is good' -- well, that just isn't what your client would want you to say. If I knew your client, I would tip him/her off to your outrageous behavior. Instead, I turn to Yelp. I'm reminded of a popular film... Potential buyer with cash in her pocket: "You people work on commission, right?" Shop assistant: "Yeah." Potential buyer with cash in her pocket: "Big mistake. Big. Huge. I am so glad I was referred to this office by a family friend. My realtor, Danielle Coletta at Keller Williams NJM Group, is beyond awesome!! She has been extremely attentive from the first day we spoke. We communicated several times a day via text, email or phone. She listened to my numerous demands and searched until she found listings that matched my criteria to the "T". She never tried to talk me out of anything or ask me to compromise. I am a new licensee who called and emailed this office numerous times for an interview. I finally received a call back from the receptionist who said the broker can meet me Wednesday morning at 8am. That worked for me so I confirmed the appointment. Long story short, the broker, Alicia, never showed for the appointment. I waited over 30 minutes.....An employee on the office even texted and called her and got no answer. How embarrassing that must be. You would think when the broker arrived at the office that morning and realized that she totally forgot about our appointment she would call and apologize, right? Nope! Never heard a peep from them!!! After that, I wouldn't want to join this team... This is a clear indication they do not care about their agents one bit. I'm currently selling my house by owner , and an agent from this office named Eric called me to try to get my listing .. I told him I'm selling it by myself and he kept rudely making comments about how he could do better .. I then said that if I listed my house it would be with the agent that sold it to me , who also became my friend. He then implied that she wouldn't be as good as him. Very arrogant and full of himself .. I told him I'm a loyal person and he still was rudely pushy ! Then I said if he keeps trying to dissuade me from using my friend , I would hang up. He then very obnoxiously said , THEN HANG UP NOW !! HANG UP NOW !! He actually said it twice ! I called the registered broker , Julie Corbo , and she has not had the courtesy to return my call. I would never use this agency or any of its agents !! They're very arrogant and rude ! There are much nicer Real Estate companies in Montclair. It's now been a few weeks and the owner still hasn't responded to my 3 calls. I would never give this agency , or any of its agents , any business ! read more

If you have no choice but to deal with this real-estate agency like I did, then there are a few things you should know. Their realtors have no communications skills, are incapable of scheduling things properly, and think it's appropriate to attempt to reach out to you multiple times a day in different forms (via email / texts) during a work day. This review mostly focuses on one of their realtor, Leonora. She lacks the ability to communicate and schedule appointments and the basic social skills of dealing with people. She has actually screamed at myself and my current roommate in the past (making everyone else in the room extremely uncomfortable). She gets overwhelmed very easily and does not handle stress properly. If I had any say in the matter, I'd choose another agency as soon as possible. If the owners of your apartment building chose Keller Williams, ask to work with any other realtor but Leonora. read more

Never will I ever attempt to do business with this company as long as there is an "agent" named Debbie Lansing working there. To say the least, she is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. After requested information was sent to her, her email states that she will be in contact to schedule a viewing- NEVER HAPPENED. I even said I already saw some pictures online and wanted to secure my spot. I called and texted off both of my phones. No response. I finally get a simple text "apt rented" with no explanation- (WHAT) I kindly asked her how was that if you never reached out to me to schedule a viewing. Long story short, she feels like I have no right to be mad because "I didn't reach out"?!? Oh and that I should focus my energy on searching for Apt's.... smh... last but not least, not knowing anything about me, says the apt is really small and I probably wouldn't like it for 3 people. What she didn't know is 2 people was a couple and the other was my sister- so tell me how that wouldn't work??? Oh but over the phone she was saying how big the bedrooms are. Never once did she attempt to reach out in person to schedule an application meeting- but tells me someone with a perfect 700 credit score got the house. Anyone can lie via email and tell you their credit score. All in all- she was rude, disrespectful, dishonest and utterly unprofessional and I would never recommend this company. And if you think my accusations are false, I have emails, texts and call logs as to how much I have been trying to reach her. read more

I would not recommend this company. Their main focus is on the large Montclair homes, so when it comes to the smaller, not as profitable listings, the said are not posted and shared on their public Facebook site. Never once was my house listed or shared over 3 months time. In addition, if it wasn't for my gut on multiple things with the home, our house would've sold for 40,000 less! They push their realtors to just yes you and them after the first failed open house, it's immediately drop the price down drastically. A very specific problem happened with my sale, in which this office could have and should have immediately helped. Instead, they could care less, did not offer to help, did not make any apologies what so ever. I picked this Office because they seemed like they had good social media. In reality, it's only good for homes that matter to them. I hope others see this and don't second guess the other companies. And check your agent! Don't just base off of impressions or sounding "nice." If it wasn't for my family and I completely stopping our lives for 2 weeks to fix what happened with our particular sale, we could have lost the sale of our new home due to a MAJOR fault with our agent, and in addition, almost losing a profit of 40,000. Scary to even think about it. Overall, this particular group and the manager of it completely does not take you serious once you sign the paperwork if you are under 400-500,000 listing. read more
