I thought that was a very bold move and should be illegal. I went to the Halloween city because I'm not a big fan of party city because of their plastic use, but that's a another story. Party city is usually very busy during Halloween time so I knew I could save time and waste less if I went to Halloween City. The staff assured me that there have not been any fights or drama with the Party City staff. They had a great selection, the prices were reasonable and the staff was very helpful. I was in and out. I did however just notice that their website brings you to the party city website, so now I think they're related companies.

They always deliver our balloons on time and even put those intimidating huge multi-part balloons together with no sweat! MNM has even helped us out during a crisis. My daughter was expecting Elsa for her daycare party and the character cancelled 2 HOURS before the party. We were going to be mobbed by a group of 20 very disappointed 4 yr old kids who were expecting Elsa, not to mention our daughter's disappointment! We had a balloon delivery from MNM that day and mentioned it to Omar. MNM rescued the day and provided their personally owned official Olaf costume for my husband to wear! We couldn't believe their kindness in that moment. They are genuinely nice people who really enjoy being a service to the community and are a wonderful example of what local business strive to be. Delivery price is crazy... so I take the chairs go to my car and start unloading. I notice more and more how dirty these chairs were... they were all almost black. When I put about 4 in my car I turn to get more and I see a roach crawling all over the chair. I freak out , unload the ones I did and brought back to store. I tell her not only are they dirty but they have roaches on them & she LAUGHS at me! She said they are used chairs they are going to be dirty. I said I could of gotten past the not so perfect chair but the roaches is gross. She said I'll give you your money back but don't rent here again. OBVIOUSLY I won't be ! I paid upfront and carefully confirmed all details months in advance. The most important detail to me was that the backdrop would include my son's name and say "God Bless Benjamin." That personalized sign was the entire reason I chose this company. As the event approached in May, I received absolutely no confirmation or communication regarding delivery. I had to repeatedly call and text just to make sure they were still coming. No one answered and no calls were returned. When the owner finally responded, instead of professionally reassuring me, he texted that he was "busy setting up another event," as if I was supposed to understand or excuse the lack of communication. I am not a friend doing him a favor. I was a paying customer who deserved respect, professionalism, and basic communication. Eventually his assistant called me and asked me to go over all the details again. I even resent photos and specific instructions for the backdrop sign. Then she asked me for payment again as if I had never booked with them in the first place! I had to explain that I already booked and paid months earlier in January. That showed me they either lost my order or were completely disorganized. When I expressed my concerns to the owner, he blamed "busy prom season." That is not an acceptable excuse to give customers. If you run a business, you need to manage your schedule and communicate professionally with clients. The balloons themselves were delivered in the correct colors, but the backdrop had only a generic "God Bless" sign with no name, the one detail I was really looking forward to seeing and the main reason I hired them. After months of planning and stressing over whether they would even show up, this was incredibly upsetting. The lack of communication, organization, accountability, and professionalism made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this business if customer service and reliability are important to you.
