She got a bit of information from me regarding the project, then passed along Greg's contact information and told me I'd be hearing from him that same day. Greg called shortly after, then we set an appointment that worked well for my schedule 2 days later. He even took care to mention the forecast to be sure I'd be alright meeting on a rainy day if needed. On the day of our appointment, I requested that he let me know when he was on his way, and he did so. Greg showed up on time, was very friendly, and gave me an in depth opinion on the health of the tree in question. He seemed very honest and trustworthy, and took time to explain any potential risks and what to look for on the tree in the future if it's health starts to change. He also provided me with a few ballpark quotes if I ever did choose to remove it. I will absolutely be calling AAA Tree Services if I need any other tree needs met. Wonderful experience and employees!

The "grapple & drag" machine that they use to move the downed timber could not handle the hill and wet ground so it turned into a much more labor intensive job than anticipated. Highly recommended.

Will have to go back to other companies that gave me a quote to get back in their work queue... Strange experience to say the least when someone tells you they can do a job and then backs out based on a "gut feeling" with no explanation. Update: After this review Barry texted me to call me "A Dick". Very unprofessional.

We agreed to trim all to the fence line in the back, as well as trimming of a row of bushes, and two big ones in the front on a fixed price. They showed up on time the next day with a mid-size truck, with four family members, only one seemed like a professional worker. There was no chipper, and they had to cut the branches by chain saws to stack on the truck. Half way on the side, he wanted to charge $300 more to cut down a small tree, about 10-12 inches trunk on our property. I didn't have budget, so we skipped it. To the back, which was the main reason that I need to clear to the fence line, because of the branches grew from the other easement side, that have grown reaching the power line, then he threw tantrums. Upsetting, yelling, climbing on a ladder with an extended chainsaw trying to cut it. He finally cleared some of it, but I'd rather not risking to have him fall, so I gave up, kept telling him to stop. Next, this rental property was neglected by the tenants, therefore the backyard ground was littered with leaves, small branches. I assumed that was part of clean up after the job, but he said he did me an extra favor to blow them off. So, if you hire him, spelled it out. I also had another two gardeners to mow and clear the front lawn. They went ahead trimming the row of bushes and two big ones, which he supposed to do. That gave him a break. Basically, his semi-truck wouldn't fit all the branches if he did the whole thing as agreed. A tip, call Duke Energy and request them for a tree trimming near their power line. They will come out and do it for a free of charge. Save yourself from expense and headaches.
