This is a holistic health care practice in the best sense of the word. Rose, the therapy dog, is there to comfort you. During my initial visit, Dr. Mattson discovered and explained what my dental challenges were. When we realized that my teaching schedule wouldn't allow me back in for dental work until December, he stayed late and worked on my teeth. We're talking one assistant, office closed, 6:00 at night late. This is the best dental experience I have ever had, and my family is so happy to have found Dentolutions.

I simply cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Burke and his Amazing staff…read more I had an extensive root canal that was knocked off so quickly that they offered to make and set the new crown right then and there if I could hang out for another hour or so.... and I left 90 minutes later with a new crown fitted. VERY plesant suprise to say the Least. Dr. Burke listened to me and created a treatment plan that worked around my personal issues and monetary needs .I never once felt judged or rushed through the process, even though I can be VERY long winded as you are finding out reading this review. :) :) :) My intake exam with Bella set the tone as she asked very pointed questions and just like Dr. Burke, actually listened and gave constructive feedback and ideas to aid in preparing a treatment plan. I had initially called in as a critical status patient with a broken molar and a lost filling. I was in a lot of pain and Dani juggled things around and got me in within 48 hours. I had suggested that I needed an extraction but was told that the tooth could be saved at a lesser expense. I agreed and as I was worried about waiting weeks to get back in for some relief..... Dani managed to work her Magic and get me in for a root canal the next day. I was MORE than elated ! I showed up and was pleased to meet Amanda and Emily who assisted Dr. Burke in this afternoon excursion we were about to embark upon. I can only say that I was thoroughly entertained by the wonderful play list we listened to ...... but the stories and banter between Dr. Burke , Amanda and Emily were nothing less that Hilarious and completely disarming. I was prepared to be anxious and nervous the entire time but instead, it felt like I was hanging out with friends, shooting the breeze. It was the most refreshing and literally an enjoyable experience getting my root canal and same day crown installed. I know that sounds insane but I am serious. This was a completely unique experience for a dental visit and I cannot recommend Stag Dental enough. If you don't like going to your current dental office.....give Dani at Stag Dental a call and you will not be Sorry. P.S. - They were Amazing working with my Met Life Insurance. I visited this dental office this week. I needed a cleaning and check up and I had some pain in…read moreone spot. The office staff was professional and nice, but the dentist was rushed and very short with me. She told me I had 4 teeth which needed attention. When I asked for details, she would not tell me which specific teeth were involved. When I sat with the business manager to go over pricing and appointments, all of a sudden 7 teeth were on the plan, totaling $1880 in work. When I asked what that was about, the manager left to speak with the dentist, only to return to tell me the plan of care was correct. Again, no details. I called the office the next day explaining my concerns and asked to speak to the dentist. I never received a call back. I visited another dentist yesterday for a second opinion. I have 4 teeth that need fillings.... and the price was half as much as this place quoted me. Update--- I did receive a call over a week later. The dentist had no explanation as to why I was told 4 teeth in the dentist chair but 7 teeth in the plan, other than to assure me she did a great job and that it was 7 total. When I told her another dentist only found 4 she had no explanation.

I was very nervous about a procedure and they knew how to explain just enough about the procedure and the outcome to calm me down. They performed the procedure without any pain making a long ordeal comfortable. They did an amazing job. Their patience and caring and the welcoming staff at the desk will bring me back to Third Coast. I will always request Dr Allison and Logan. I had a tooth removed and a treatment plan with the costs all laid out for the future. Its manageable and the experience with her has very much restored my hope and trust in dentists in northern Michigan. Dr Lisa is an angel. Her staff.. so uplifting. Kind, encouraging, non judgemental and literally the nicest office staff I've ever stumbled into.
