We were at a friends house that same night and they got crawfish from another crawfish stand. After comparing side to side, taste to taste, The Crawfish Cartel's crawfish won- hands down! They were much more flavorful & juicer. I first reached out to The Crawfish Cartel to ask what the price per pound was via FB Messenger. They let me know and Ashley (one of the owners) told me they were almost sold out for the night. I was really bummed but after asking how many lbs we needed, Ashley let me know they could accommodate and went out of their way to make sure we could still enjoy their crawfish and was able to make the requested amount for us! The 3 of us couldn't finish everything. Brought a good deal of the small charcuterie home. The creme brulee was very different. Good but different. A bit more salty than I'm used to and texture was different. I think that was because of the muscadine syrup they put on top. I'm also thinking that may be the cause the saltiness. That they add a but more salt to counter the sweetness of the syrup. It was super tasty though. We truly enjoyed our flights and Taylor was great about giving us little details and insights on our choices. Our favorite was the Promuse Oak and left with it, since we'd all agreed on it!
