Ninety Fence gave me a proposal for a wood swing gate with gate hinges from the 1960's that were originally bolted into a concrete wall that crumbled and was rebuilt new. I needed the gate reinstalled into the new brick wall. Although I didn't proceed with this proposal because it was higher than the others. I am still giving this company a 5 star review because of the craftsmanship and detail that was included in this proposal which would have been a superior and much stronger/longer lasting repair than the one I went with. (You get what you pay for).
First, the company had to locate comparable hard to find hinges. They are the only ones who did that for me. Then, they determined a way to reinforce the concrete with a metal plate to make it even stronger than the original design. Another design positive by this company. By doing this, they would have preserved the look of the original design at the complex even after finding a way to reinforce the wall better than the original design. They gave a very neat detailed drawing to explain exactly how it was going to be done--so you don't have to guess the details of how they were going to fix the gate. Again, they are the only company that did this. There is a certain standard of quality and detail to design and function with this company that the others did not offer. Also, even though I decided to rush through with a cheaper vendor that I may live to regret in a few years, I do see how the strength of Ninty Fence's gate design would have been much much more stable and probably better looking than the cheaper gate repair I went with.
I believe this company's workmanship, design, engineering-type considerations, and value is a cut above the rest and that's why the price is somewhat higher. So, If you want a gate that is solid, beautiful, well made, and according to your wishes, this is probably a really good gate company to consider. read more
