As a Nordic blonde, I usually only trust hairstylists in Finland with my hair, so finding someone…read morein the U.S. who truly understands blonde hair has been incredibly difficult. After trying several stylists over the years, I stumbled upon Korby's work, and I can honestly say I was blown away. From the moment I sat in his chair, he took the time to really listen to what I wanted. He communicated clearly throughout the entire process, made sure I felt comfortable, and genuinely cared about achieving the result I was looking for. I never felt rushed, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One thing that immediately stood out was the quality of the products he uses. He works with amazing brands like Davines and Olaplex and is incredibly generous when it comes to using products that actually benefit your hair. He doesn't cut corners. He prioritizes the health, shine, softness, and overall integrity of your hair, and it shows. My hair has never felt this glossy, healthy, or soft after a color appointment. What impressed me even more is that Korby could easily charge significantly more for the quality of work he provides. His expertise, attention to detail, and results are on par with stylists charging much higher prices, yet he keeps his services affordable and accessible. As someone who has been both a student and someone working within a budget, I truly appreciate that. It feels like he genuinely wants people to have beautiful hair without breaking the bank. He even included a trim as part of the service, which was such a thoughtful touch and something that's becoming increasingly rare. Throughout the appointment, he offered great recommendations without ever being pushy. His goal was simply to make sure I felt heard, comfortable, and happy with the final result. Most importantly, he protected the integrity of my hair every step of the way. As a blonde, that's everything. My hair not only looks better than it ever has, but it actually feels healthier. He was careful, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. I would recommend Korby to anyone, especially fellow blondes. I trusted him completely with my hair, and he exceeded every expectation. I left feeling confident, beautiful, and genuinely excited about my hair for the first time in a long time. Honestly, I would come back to Sacramento just to have Korby do my hair again. He's that good. If you're considering booking with him, do it. You won't regret it.

This review is for eyelash extensions with Mayra…read more I seriously don't know why I ever stopped getting eyelash extensions. I did some research on Yelp and found Mayra. She's ah-mazing!! She's so sweet, professional, very knowledgeable on eyelash extensions, and super QUICK. I'm in and out under an hour every time. Anyone who has ever gotten eyelash extensions knows it can take anywhere from an hour to 1.5 hours. Sometimes longer than that. I love how natural my lashes look. OTher places I've gone to would add too much of the extensions and it gives me that sleepy look which I don't like. I want to look awake dammit! lol. My lashes last me about 4-5 weeks before I start looking crazy with my lashes pointing all different directions. I would definitely recommend her. Not only is she an eyelash technician but she does hair and make-up too.
