Not a bad review of the studio, studio is lovely and the owner is a lovely lady. Just a bad review…read moreof one of the artists unfortunately. Had a tattoo done by Kai. Was disappointed with the quality. Lines and shading both quite bad... there are multiple errors which Kai refused to acknowledge. wobbly lines, and spacing is inconsistent. I feel mugged off as he u Insisted he could do the design I was asking for and said it was "dead simple" but the final result was like a sloppy low grade version with poorly executed lines. I was also disappointed by the customer service from Kai and generally he was not very friendly. Literally the type of artist I was trying to avoid. The tattoo was very important as it is in remembrance of my brother but Kai still refused to give me a partial refund to go towards having it fixed by someone else. I would not want it redone by Kai for free as he didnt do a good job on the lines and I would not trust him to do a good job second time around. He was also very unsympathetic and even patronising in his reply, bringing up one of my other tattoos by another artist having the audacity to say it did not heal well and that I am not happy with that one either. When in reality I am very happy with my other tattoo which is 10 years old, has never needed a touch up and looks far better than the one Kai gave me. Regardless it is Very inappropriate to bring up my tattoo by another artist. Really regret going to him. Massively disappointing experience, and now my memorial for my brother is ruined. Kai was very unprofessional. I dont know how he could feel okay charging full price for a BOTCHED job, and then being rude and arrogant to boot

Let me start off by saying I had the pleasure of having Lenny work on my leg, the man is a genius…read morewith ink and iron. I also had the pleasure of meeting Hollie and seeing her amazing leg sleeves, the both of them spoke to me through the entire session which was roughly 6 hours. I never felt like I was talking to an artist but speaking to both very old friends. If you have the luck and pleasure of working with either rest assured you are in great hands

Yep, I have a little ink. It's the done thing in Brighton, and I am a slave to trends! No,…read moreseriously, I love my tattoos, they are a truer snapshot of my life than any picture could be, and I wouldn't be the same without them. One of them, my most recent, I got at Into You, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get one. Brighton is full of different parlours, and Into You is the nicest, best-staffed and best value-for-money in the whole town! Out of my three pieces, two were done by gun, and one was hand-done. For all of you tattoo virgins: a tattoo gun is that buzzy knife/pen thing most parlours use, a hand-done tattoo is done with a needle. I don't know anyone apart from Adam at Into You who hand-does in Brighton, so there's a good starting point: it is the better way to get tattooed. The design is clearer and more detailed, and the process is less aggressive to your skin; I really recommend it. It costs more and takes quite a bit longer, but the result is enviably good. Add to that that Adam is a great guy, and happy to go over designs and modifications and the like, and you see why I can't imagine getting tattooed anywhere else again! If you want other, regular gun work, the guys and girls in there seem to be great and know their stuff. Most parlours you hear a mixture of good and bad about: I've only ever heard praise for Into You. So, if you fancy some work done, I can't recommend Into You enough. Apart from the great skill you're paying for, Into You is also well-staffed, in an easily accessible, central location, pleasantly decorated yet still clean, and offers a wide variety of books and other tattoo bits and pieces. Truly the best place in Brighton to get tattooed, and well worth the increase in price from some of the cheap-o places.

I got a piercing! To be more specific: it's a helix piercing, which means it's in the upper ear,…read morepiercing through the cartilage. I'd been meaning to get this piercing since I was a teenager, but back in the days I wasn't mentally quite prepared for it. First, I didn't want to be the one person in my village with a piercing "like that" - if a boy had a piercing, it was the one through the ear lobe. Secondly, we had a saying in Germany that goes like this: "Links ist cool, rechts is schwul." That translates to: Wear it on your left and you're cool. Wear it on your right and you're gay. As I said: I wasn't ready for this when I was a teenager and then I eventually ended up working in hospitality and that industry didn't really like it if you had had piercings as a man. (Times have luckily changed on that front.) Going through somewhat like a midlife crisis (or second puberty?), I figured now would be a good time to get that piercing. A friend recommended Punktured in Brighton and without further ado, I made an appointment. The staff was super friendly and walked me through the various steps: both of the procedure and the healing process. At every time in the process, I felt very well taken care of! Thank you, Punkture team! Also - guess which side I got the earing in!? Let's be gay ;-)

I had an ear piercing done in this place a year ago which never healed properly even after using…read moreall the products they recommended and looking after it carefully. Now I found out I'm pregnant and I asked them if they could take the piercing out as it can be dangerous. Not only did they refused to help me, but one of the ladies (short one with dark hair) was extremely rude with me, even though I told her many times I was very worried because the doctor told me it could be risky to keep an unhealed piercing during pregnancy. When I asked her if she at least could teach me how to take it out safely, she rolled her eyes and looked at the other employees and told me I could not take it out inside the store. I told her I could do it outside and expressed my worries to her and she started saying I was "giving her attitude" as if I were a child. I never had anyone mistreat me like this and I don't wish anyone, particularly a first-time mum, to go through this. I wouldn't recommend a place with such rude and insensitive (un)professionals. Additionally, this was the only piercing I had problems healing. I have other 5 made in other places which all healed fine and people were always lovely and helpful. The only reason I don't give less stars is because the professional who pierced me at the time was very respectful and nice.
