They take advantage of her so much because of her kindness. But there is a limit, my aunt quit working here. Yesterday she texted to the owner that today she would come to get the paycheck for the period 5/5 to 5/13. However, the owner refused to pay her on time since they said she must wait till her husband comes back from Vietnam trip while he's still working in the salon now. He goes to vietnam for 2-3 weeks. Which is nonsense.... Today my aunt comes to get her stuffs and asked for the paycheck. She need money to support for her family ( paying rent, buying food and gas...)She deserved to get pay for working hard for 10 hours a day here. Everyday her husband had to drive her for an hour to this nail salon. The owner is so unreasonable. They said when my aunt comes to the salon today. They refused to pay her for her paycheck period. Then her husband came into the salon. They switched to tell him that they would mail the check to her apartment. The mail is sent to apartment easily getting lost. My aunt also doesnt believe them anymore. Besides, no one knows what happened if the check's lost and they may say they already send the paycheck out. The most convenient way is to pick it up. My aunt asked them if she would be back next week to pick up the check. They refused. It looks like they don't want to give her money or try to delay in paying her. They refuse to pay on time and the way to deliver the payment is not convenient. I, on behalf of my aunt, called in to ask gentlely. The lady owner refused to talk and said if I want to discuss , come to the nail salon. We don't have free time to go beg for money we worked hard to earn. I am writing here to let them read it and for customer to know that life is short please do right things and treat people well. Be a human!!!! To the owner: please prepare her paycheck and We come to pick it up at the nail salon. If you don't call her or text her to come to pick up the check either next Monday or Tuesday, I will make a claim to the court and file a case to department of labor for your violation. I file a wage claim with your state's labor department or the federal government.

Mother's Day for my 71 year old mother, who raised six children including an adopted child, was…read moreabsolutely ruined by this salon. I brought my mother here for manicures and pedicures expecting a relaxing and special experience, fully prepared to spend whatever was needed. Instead, this became one of the worst salon experiences I have had in over 20 years of getting my nails done. The problems started immediately during my mother's upgraded pedicure. Her pedicure chair water jet did not work and the foot liner was half on and half off. I clearly told the gentleman doing her service not to massage her legs because she recently had a medical procedure that makes her bruise easily, yet I later looked over and saw him actively massaging scrub into her legs anyway. I had to stop him myself and spent the rest of my own pedicure watching him closely instead of relaxing. He also almost skipped properly using the scrub on her feet after only applying it to one leg before beginning the massage. I had to remind him. He never performed the callus remover treatment included in the upgraded package even after I politely mentioned it, and he had a bloody cut on his hand without wearing gloves. Then came the hot stone add on. The menu listed hot stones as a $7 add on, but I was charged $10 instead. It is not about the $3 difference. It is about dishonesty and lack of professionalism. When I asked for hot stones only on the bottom of my mother's feet, the employee tried convincing me to buy the $80 pedicure instead. Things became even worse during my mother's manicure. She was given the wrong polish color, two fingers were cut badly enough to bleed, polish was left all over her skin, the nails were uneven and unfinished looking, and the technician did not even apply a clear top coat! My mother later told me the technician spent the appointment huffing, puffing, rushing, and acting irritated with her the entire time on Mother's Day. The saddest part is that I asked THREE separate times for the manicure menu and did not receive it until her manicure was basically over, so I never even had the chance to upgrade her service. When I tried getting help regarding her manicure, I had to ask multiple employees before anyone assisted us. The young employee who finally came over tried gaslighting both me and my mother by claiming she was not bleeding and that it was "old red nail polish." My mother had previously been wearing a light pearl pink polish, not red. And even if it HAD been old polish, why would leftover red polish still be sitting on your client's fingers after a fresh manicure? Instead of apologizing, this employee loudly accused me in front of the salon of "overreacting." No, I was reacting appropriately to terrible service and blatant disrespect toward my elderly mother on Mother's Day. At that point, I told my mother to get her things because we were leaving. I explained that the "fixing" services were not needed and that I would not pay for the terrible manicure she received. That same employee then threatened to remove the polish entirely from my mother's nails. A man then randomly came from the back of the salon screaming at me about raising my voice while he and the nail tech were shouting at me themselves. In the end, I paid $120 for two pedicures, despite the dishonest hot stone up charge, simply because I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I have never experienced such poor customer service, chaos, or disrespect in a salon. Only one woman at the very end (possibly the owner or manager) apologized. I will never return and will absolutely warn others not to go here.
