After emailing them, I received a phone call from David Lambie to talk to me personally about what we were looking for (cremation,  memorial service,  live streaming,  death certificates,  social security and Medicare notifications, paperwork to fly the ashes internationally)and the costs.    David was kind and caring.  He took his time and explained the processes, step by step.     A week and a half later, my father passed away. I called David just after midnight.  He was there within half an hour to pick up my dad.      The next day, we met with David and worked out the obituary and the rest of the arrangements.   He listened to us, and he made thoughtful suggestions.  Over the next few days, he was patient and attentive as we edited the obituary   and memorial cards several times.  He added and edited our picture montage several times as well.  He was always patient, and kind and sympathetic. He and his lovely wife, Dana, recommended several restaurants for our post memorial reception.    On the day of the Celebration of Life he had someone in the parking lot upon our arrival, ready to help us bring in our pictures, photo albums,  and other props. From the moment we walked in the door, David was there and ready to help us set up our memory vignettes.  My dad had multiple businesses throughout his life and we set up stations that payed homage to his entrepreneurial endeavors.      David went above and beyond.  We had family across the country who were not able to fly in for the services. David started the live feed an hour early so our family members could watch the reception before the services and eulogies started.      The services and eulogies were heart warming and stirring.   At the end of everything,  we had so many people approach us and compliment us on the best funeral that they had ever attended.   I don't know about you,  but I've never been to a funeral that was such a stand out,  that I wanted to remark about it to the family.  We heard it over and over again.   This was all made possible by David & Dana Lambie.    When we were leaving,  David & Dana had everything ready for us.  They had a flash drive of the services, the guest book, the framed picture of my father from the memorial service, and the paperwork we would need to transport the ashes internationally.        They were thorough and efficient, warm and caring.  I can't say enough wonderful things about them.   I would recommend them highly.   They are professional,  effective,  compassionate and a credit to their profession.  When you need funeral services,  know that these people will handle every detail with the utmost care.   David and Dana Lambie are absolutely fantastic!

It's difficult entrusting the final care of your loved one to someone and when they exceed your expectations it's so emotional. My mother-in-law received a funeral fit for the Queen that she was and so happy I discovered R.S. Gibbs Life Celebration Funeral Home. I am such a perfectionist and when I walked in the church and saw the care, details and professionalism, I could do nothing more but cry in gratitude and appreciation for the services rendered by Romaine. When my father passed shortly after, there was no question who I was going to call and once again, Romaine and staff "did their thing" to ensure a beautiful home going service for my dad. After the initial funeral in Philly my father was sent to Jamaica for a second service and burial. Gibbs supported the entire transport process providing transit updates along the way and ensured the casket was packed securely to withstand freight services. The cemetery is absolutely sprawling and seems to have no obvious borders defining where it begins and ends. I loved taking in the sights of the intricate an ornate grave markers, but also of the wildlife that meander around Laurel Hill Cemetery. I would definitely be interested in returning during a future visit and even taking a tour to learn more about the cemetery's origins and history.

Peter, his son, and the entire team made our lives much easier by thinking of everything we could not think of at this time. One moment that especially touched us was when Peter personally arranged for a beautiful photo display in the chapel, choosing pictures that reflected our son's life and spirit. He also took the time to share a few comforting words, remembering small details we had mentioned about our son, which made us feel truly seen and supported. Professionalism, knowledge, and kindness were hard to describe in words. I hope that none of my close friends will ever need these kinds of services, but unfortunately, that is not possible. When she passed recently, I contacted Tim, and he was just as compassionate, helping me plan her celebration of life at his Haddon Heights location. Tim explained the entire process clearly, even setting up our meeting with the cemetery staff. On the day of the service, he went above and beyond: providing easels for our photo displays, accommodating our custom playlist with an excellent Bluetooth sound system, and supplying special laminated prayer cards for the immediate family alongside the standard ones. Throughout it all, Tim and his brother Chris were there to support us every step of the way. The following day, Tim met our family for the private interment, where he thoughtfully provided holy water at the gravesite--a very special touch. We learned that my brother passed away tragically and to be honest, we had no clue where to start. The rest of our family is all spread out so we did everything we had to do by phone. I was tasked to choose and contact a funeral home for arrangements. A quick google search showed that White-Luttrell was the closest to where my brother lived and had 5 star reviews. I picked up the phone on a Sunday morning and Jason answered my call. Again, having no clue what to do, what they would need, what I needed, what my last name was, or anything... Jason had such a kind and welcoming presence and it was much appreciated. Jason walked me through everything including what to expect next, when they would receive my brother from the county coroner, when we could expect his ashes to be ready, when the death certificate would be ready, and even filled out all the paperwork for me and simply needed my signature. I couldn't believe how seamless he made such an emotional process. My sister and I showed up 5 days later to meet Jason in person and retrieve the remains of our brother. While there, we were treated with the utmost respect and even humor, cause that's how my siblings and I have always been, laughing at all times (it's a great way to keep from sobbing 24/7). It was a fast visit. Jason had all the paper work prepared for us again, and we picked out a small urn for my brother's girlfriend. Signed some papers and swiped a credit card (FYI, cremation services are surprisingly way less money than I would have expected) and were headed out to learn to live with one less sibling.
