Terrible dentist with horrible bedside manner. Do NOT go to her for Invisalign, she will damage your jaw and bite. Do not be mislead by her preferred partner with Invisalign, she does not know what she is doing. In addition, she caused an infection because she left pieces of material in my gum, had to go to a specialist who asked who did the work because it was a terrible job and had to remove the impacted pieces from my gums that caused me pain and suffering for 3 weeks. She will not admit to any errors. DO NOT GO. If you are unhappy with anything she will become extremely rude. She should not be practicing dentistry and her license should be revoked. read more

Best dentist experience I have ever had. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants and Dr Woolard are friendly and professional. I felt taken care of the entire time and they explained clearly why they do certain things or recommend certain procedures. Horrible service and very unprofessional. The dentist there is very condescending and is not honest. I was over charged for fillings and when I brought up the price I was given before my visit they agreed they made a mistake. If I would've not caught the mistake they would have taken advantage of me. The dentist also hurt me when she was injecting anaesthesia. I felt a shock of electricity on the left side of my face. She right away tried to steer away from any wrongdoing by saying she pulled the needle out right away and it wasn't her fault. After this happened she was very rude and the entire visit was very unpleasant. She went as far as sending me a letter stating I could not go back to her office and she had no substance behind her decision. BEST dentist I have had in my life. I neglected my dental health until my teeth started to hurt. Dr. Nilda was able to save my molar without bone surgery or removal. I received a root canal and crown and the crown was perfect and felt like a real tooth. Dr. Nilda was honest and truthful and told me what I needed to do in order to fix my teeth and maintain them. I also ordered an Invisalign night guard to protect my teeth at night. Everyone in the office from the front administrative staff to the hygienist and assistants are incredible and personable. While Carly & Mitzi at the desk are quite nice, and Julio was a great hygienist, I wish I had never walked into this office. After having Dr. Woolard fill a tooth, the pain began and the filling fell out. She redid it after the holidays and it fell out again. The pain continued and increased in intensity. When Dr. Woolard saw me again she blamed me for the filling coming out (this has never happened to me before and it has never happened since). She wanted to try again with a *temporary* filling because she thought I might now need a root canal. (I was nowhere near needing anything to that degree when I walked in.) I ended up going to another dentist who fixed it immediately and was pretty stunned at Dr. Woolard's synopsis of the problem. It took two weeks to get my dental records sent over after sending half a dozen messages asking for them with no suggestion of a solution for the financial, physical, and time-consuming problem they created for me. The dentist seemed more frustrated by my dissatisfaction rather than attempting to offer reassurance, apologize, or make it right. Real bummer. Also, they do not have nitrous oxide (laughing gas) in the office for procedures. My initial google review was made because they offer "gifts" to patients for reviews. read more

My husband and I have been coming to Dr. Woolard as our dentist since 2003 (and before having our 3 children!) I have always been impressed with her professionalism, as well as friendship that we have built over the years. Our 3 kids have never seen another dentist, and since Dr. Woolard does braces too, 2 of the 3 kids have braces with her now! One year, our dental insurance changed and I had to see another dentist. (I am an every 6 month person) That dentist told me that I had a cavity and it could possibly turn into a root canal! I was floored! I called Dr. Woolard's office after leaving my appointment and she had me come right in... I did NOT have a cavity! That was 11 years ago. We have Delta Dental HMO and it's an understatement to say that the list of dentists to choose from is very disappointing. Lots of dental groups come up and there seem to be a high number of let's just say similar sounding positive reviews. However mixed into these reviews are often horrible statements by dissatisfied clients. I wasn't going to fall for this. I wanted a genuine standalone dentist, not a Dental Group. I asked around and someone recommended Dr Woolard. I was shocked she even took this insurance but she does. So I made my first appointment. Dental insurance often pays very little and dentists are often quick to recommend procedures that may not be necessary or aren't covered by insurance. I have spent countless hours in dental offices and I can recognize a sales pitch a mile away. I'm always skeptical. Thankfully, I did not get this Vibe with Dr Woolard. She is just a no-nonsense dentist. She did some work on my teeth and I liked her style. For the first time in a long time I felt comfortable dealing with the dentist. I was so happy that I decided to have her do crowns on all my front teeth. I have been putting this off for some time and knew I needed this. I wanted to find the right dentist to do this since this would involve significant out-of-pocket expenses. Dr. Woolard does not use one of these in house machines to create crowns. I have been told by someone on the inside that it is better to have a crown made in a lab with a multimillion-dollar machine instead of a crown made in an office with a $100,000 machine. I asked and they use glidewell labs for their crowns. I checked with my contact and was told that they are an excellent lab and well respected. Long story short, I had her do my crowns. I could not be happier with the fit and appearance. I could tell she took great care when putting them in and adjusted them to make sure that they were perfect. I told her that they were fine and she insisted on continuing to work on them until they were perfect by her standards. On top of all this, the staff is excellent. I live a very busy life and don't have time to deal with nonsense like teeth cleanings. So I appreciate that the staff calls me to remind me. When I tell them that I am extremely busy and try me in a couple weeks, they actually call me and remind me. I need a dentist like this. I was so happy that my wife started going there and I started taking my kids there as well. I then discovered that several friends of mine are also long-time customers of hers. I feel like I have found a Hidden Gem. Just a note, her office is nothing fancy. Sure I miss going to the fancy dentist in Beverly Hills with the water feature in the lobby. But then again, I guess I was paying for that with all the extras that they always seem to be selling me. On another note, she may have saved my life. They actually took my blood pressure and she told me that my blood pressure was high. Specifically she spelled it out in a language that I would understand. She told me that I needed to go to my doctor immediately upon leaving her office. I actually trusted her and did so. My doctor was alarmed and now I'm on medication to correct a high blood pressure issue. Doctor Woolard genuinely seemed to care and urged me to not play around with this. So my mom went to this place, this lady is not a dentist at all !! She's a scammer !!! She went to get her teeth fixed and she did a horrible job at it. My mom had pain for weeks and would go back to her so she can fix it... Obviously she's not a dentist at all she couldn't find what the problem was. Nilda was supposed to put three crowns on her and she did not do a good job at it.. they kept falling off and Nilda would blame my mom for it. She even recommended my mom to go back next year that way she can take my moms insurance money again because for the current year the insurance wouldn't cover it. On top of insurance my mom had to pay $3000 dollars of her pocket. From another review that I see here she recommends the same thing to most people.... she recommended my mom to use a mouth guard at night because she "grinds her teeth at night" even tho she doesn't. My mom spent over $50 for a mouth guard something I believe she should provide. My mom went to another dentist and and he didn't even want to work on Nildas work because it was so bad of a job. Also she told my mom she had a cavity really close to the root canal and the other dentist said she didn't even have cavities. Most good reviews are fake, she even told me to write a good review even she had not done work on me. Please do not go to this place all they want is your money!!! Scam to the max !! Look at the other 1 star reviews she doesn't do a good job. read more
