I had heard of Spogga before (many, many times), because the man seems to be EVERYWHERE, but my…read morefirst opportunity to actually hear him play was at a recent Yelp party where we were both working. His unique and upbeat mashups were amazing. His voice, guitar playing, and beatboxing were all impressive...but what was the most impressive was his energy. The party was 3 hours long, and I'm pretty sure he was playing for at least 2.5 of those hours. I end up working at a lot of parties, and hear a lot of different music; this was definitely some of the best I've heard in a long time! I've seen some amazing fire dancing at WaterFire, and am not 100% sure whether the person I saw performing was him...but I suspect it probably was. And that was phenomenal as well.
