We booked John and Michelle for our wedding, and they did such an incredible job! The dance floor was full all night long, and John knew just the right songs to play to keep the energy high. He also did sound for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour - everything was top notch. We even had a snafu with our photographer, and Michelle hopped in to be our second photog. It was a full service night and they provided the exact ambiance we were looking for. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

Best DJ we have ever heard! We hired Nightbeat Entertainment for our wedding and he had the dance floor full the whole time. They played the perfect songs to keep the dance floor full. We got so many compliments the whole night, even the venue complimented me on the DJ. He made sure all night everything was going perfect and smooth for us. We also bought the photo mirror package and it was so fun, all my guest loved it. They made sure all my guest had an amazing time! read more

John and his wife were AMAZING!! He knew exactly what everyone wanted to hear and had fun with it, too! He even graciously dealt with pesky relatives that requested songs that didn't quite fit the mood, like slow songs during upbeat dancing, much to my relief! He was funny and easy to talk to, making a stressful time much more bearable. His lights and smoke machines were so much fun, too, my photographer was able to get even more fun and amazing photos with the cool atmosphere John created with his lights and smoke. He even helped plan the timeline of my wedding and gave experienced pointers that really helped and checked in occasionally to make sure I had what I needed even outside music for the months leading up to the wedding. It makes a huge difference when you can tell that someone genuinely enjoys their job and he definitely does. Highly, highly recommend!! read more

Just attended a wedding that these guys were hired as DJs. Being a part of the wedding party and having studied Audio Engineering and technology, the service was unprofessional. Mediocre DJing masked by an arrogant and bossy so called "professional" appearance. A DJs job is not to boss the wedding party around. It is a service. Couples hire DJs to provide music for dancing and announce. Not take over the wedding and steal the light. Lighting was unimpressive and fell extremely short. No effort put forth. Nothing like example photos, false advertising. Sound setup was anything but impressive. One single Bose rower for a reception hall of 120 people. No quality to the audio what so ever. It is obvious that they have no clue about audio. They buy expensive equipment with no clue of how to use it effectively only to impress and appear professional. Music was never adjusted for the venue. Might as well have just plugged in an iPod and left it to play. With no understanding of the basic physics of audio, it left many times of ear piercing frequencies. All in all. Song choice was great. Everything else? Anything but. Sound was horrible. These so called "DJs", charged about 1500 for maybe.... MAYBE 300 worth of service. Obnoxious, selfish, unprofessional, and scam. Do NOT hire this establishment. Take your money elsewhere, where your hard earned money will actually get you a service worthwhile for less. If the DJ wants to talk so much, go announce sports. Keep it quick, to the point, and keep opinions to yourself. Its not your wedding. Shut up and do your what you are paid for, nothing more. But apparently they can't even do that. read more

Hired NightBeat Entertainment on a referral from a DJ I had used previously, for a work social function for ~325 people. Party format was strolling dinner, music, dancing, photos w/a fun atmosphere. My main objective was to be sure that people were dancing all night and Johnny delivered - the dance floor was packed until the party ended at 11 pm. His equipment was new and good. He took my song requests in advance and worked them into the program. The photo mirror was new, worked great and Michelle attended it and was very friendly and accommodating. As an absolute honest review.... Nightbeat Ent. was the DJ for our wedding. The photo booth mirror was a hit! Our dance floor always had people on it. A variety of music was played. Johnny is very flexible, easy to work with, and always responded when we contacted him. Johnny and his wife made sure our night went smoothly and aimed to please! Our guests were impressed and I would recommend Nightbeat Ent. to a friend without hesitation. We had so much fun at our wedding, we didn't want the night to end! read more

Johnny was very scatterbrained throughout the entire process. He would forget conversations we had and relied too entirely on this online setup. Our ceremony started at 2pm. He thought it started at 2:30pm. It worked out fine though. When we walked into our reception hall I was surprised how bare the walls looked considering we paid $500 for their uplighting add on a month prior to the event. At the reception, Johnny argued with me that we didn't have uplighting. Then he realized he was looking at an old contract after he went over this paperwork at the reception. He did give us a refund for the uplighting. He was rude to our photographer who had did an art piece for our guests to sign and took the pen that was sitting on the portrait so people couldn't sign on their way in but rather "he was going to tell them when they could sign." He also was going to skip right over our toasts and go into dinner. On the other hand, Michelle was awesome to work with and the photo mirror was a complete success and a lot of fun. This was the only hiccup that we had for the evening. Otherwise, everything else went great. read more

Johnny Dutcher and the Nightbeat Entertainment team which included his wife Michelle, Tim and Keith were fantastic and made my wedding day one to remember. Johnny has a personality that fits very well with his business. He was humorous, upbeat and most of all organized. From the start, Johnny thoroughly explained the package that we purchased and the type of service that would be provided. Payment was easy and worth every penny. My wife and I asked Johnny to provide the ceremony music, DJ services, uplighting and Photo Mirror. Johnny has one heck of a catalog that includes many artists and genres. Our ceremony music and dance music were in good hands. One pleasant surprise is he played music videos that accompanied the song for some of the biggest hits. Young and old loved the videos. The uplighting was FANTASTIC!!! Johnny introduced the wedding party with lighting that was synchronized "The Greatest Showman" song. My guests didn't know what hit them. My wife and I felt like rock stars. One of the groomsmen said that he felt like he should have had a jersey on and came out with a professional team. I highly recommend using this as your wedding party introduction. It is something to see and hear. The Photo Mirror was a huge hit with our guests. There was a long line and it never slowed down. Michelle and Tim made sure to get pictures of us and our kids. The props and a souvenir picture to take home with them was a wonderful touch. The wonderful thing about the Photo Mirror was that Michelle put together a photo album with hand written well wishes from our guests. We were able to take home a photo album that night and read the wonderful things that each person in the picture said to us. Last but not least. I would like to compliment Johnny on his professionalism. He sent well timed emails with friendly reminders of what needs to be done at that period of time. He was always available by email and text message for the many suggestions and requests that my wife and I had. He put together an itinerary from the information that we provided in his website that was shared with the reception hall and the photographer. He worked with both to make sure everything was executed well and photographed. He reviewed the itinerary with me before the ceremony and made sure the entire wedding party was aware what and when events will be happening and what their role will be. Be the middle of the night, he earned my trust and I knew our wedding day was in good hands with little input or requirements from me. I highly recommend Nightbeat Entertainment. They created such a wonderful experience that my wife and I, along with our guests, wanted to do it all over again. We got calls for an entire week from our guests complimenting the great service provided by Johnny and the Nightbeat Entertainment team. read more

NightBeat Entertainment is the best DJ that you could hire for your wedding ceremony and reception. Johnny made sure to keep in contact with us throughout the planning process and was great at listening to our timeline and helping tweak it based on his professional experiences. He was able to find all of the music that we wanted for the ceremony and it was perfect. Picking out music was so easy-everything is online and there is a huge selection of music. Throughout the wedding, Johnny and his wife, Michelle made sure that everything was running smoothly and kept checking in when we wanted to do the typical wedding things. If it wasn't for him and his wife, I'm not sure we would have had as much time to dance and have fun at our wedding. Johnny got everyone on the dance floor all night! My husband DJ and I got married on September 21st, 2019 at Stone House Farm in Bancroft, MI. Byron was our DJ at our wedding and my husband and I both agreed that we couldn't have asked for better. He was on time, professional, organized, energetic, and quite literally had our dance floor packed until we had to exit our venue. The sound system was great and even with an outdoor ceremony, had multiple microphones to assure everyone would be able to hear the readings and also in the barn as well. DJ and I even received multiple compliments from our wedding guests on how great Byron was! Whenever there was a formality (first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss) happening, Byron would come out and around from the booth an interact with our guests to get them all involved! Overall, the sound was great, the energy was great, he kept on our timeline, and our dance floor was hype the entire night!! John and Michelle handled the music and entertainment at our wedding last night and I really have to say that they were the whole package. We opted for Dj services, uplighting, photobooth rental and ceremony lighting as well as a "cloud dance". Not only did they put in a ton of work in the day before and the day of the event but they took time out of their schedules to sit down and get to know us on a personal level. Every bit of the services provided were extremely professional and beat my expectations.John went out of his way time and time again to make sure that my bride and I were taken care of and he did a phenomenal job of making sure that everyone was engaged and taking part in the party. Johnny and Michelle are the most amazing people to work with! They just did the photobooth, DJ, and cloud dance as well as up lighting and monogram for our wedding. They also did the back drop for the wedding and everything was perfect. They even went above and beyond that and got to know us and what we like and helped us create our ceremony and made it even better than I thought it would be!
