He even brought me up in the booth to DJ a bit with the headphones and turntables (even though I had no idea what I was doing - it was fun!). His set up was incredible. He had his own portable light-up DJ booth, a stand with color changing lights for the dance area, huge speakers, and a wireless microphone. His mix of music styles was exactly what I wanted. I think the number one compliment we have received about the wedding was how awesome the DJ was. We actually asked him to stay over our contracted time because everyone was having so much fun. I cannot recommend this company enough - it makes me want to throw another party just to hire them! As an additional note, the price and service in the months leading up to the wedding were also top-notch. They have a customer portal where you can build your music preferences, request songs to play (or not play), and even set up songs dedicated to other people. Depending on how much you want your DJ to participate (as I said - we went for full showman), you can also fill out all the extra details of your wedding on there, such as names of wedding party, parents, order of toasts, etc. Even though you can do everything online, we talked a few times to go over specific details carefully. I could tell he really wanted to understand the vibe of our wedding and our style before arriving. He was professional, entertaining, hilarious, and one h*ll of a DJ. With an incredible affordable price to boot, I could not have picked a better service.

When we first got engaged, I think booked her a week into planning and never looked back. We immediate felt so comfortable with her and were amazed by her talent. I also bought a Groupon, and I feel that these girls weren't ready to do a Groupon. They seemed intent on charging for small things because they wouldn't actually make money from the Groupon. As another reviewer said, Groupons aren't for making money, they're for referrals. Given their service, I'm not sure how many referrals they're getting. If you can't afford to run a Groupon, don't. I too was charged a travel fee for less than 50 miles, which was not what the Groupon stated. I actually was charged $75, after being quoted $100 and asking for a lower price because that's ridiculous. My venue is less than 50 miles from Ferndale. I decided to buy the expensive scrapbook option, though I would have preferred to buy my own scrapbook to use, but was told that wasn't allowed (wait, I thought this was my wedding!). I would have liked something that matched my colors or theme or was more personalized. I wasn't told what the scrapbook would look like, and when I asked I was told it would be black. No options to choose from, and if I'm remembering right the scrapbook was about $100. There are gaudy plastic crystals on it, really just not my style for something that's supposed to be a memento. What really pissed me off, was that with the scrapbook there was only one set of pages, so they ran out of pages for people to sign. The entire point of paying extra for the book was to get people's messages and have it be like a guestbook that I could look back on. However, almost half of my guests who took pictures were not able to sign the book since they ran out of pages. Thinking back on this now, I should have asked for my money back because of this. They should bring extra pages, they could even have in their contract something saying if we need extra pages we'll bring them and charge you $X. Instead, they just came unprepared and told me "too bad, we ran out." Lastly, the actual printouts have their company name and email address on them. I feel like I'm paying for their marketing. Tacky. These aren't business cards. Other companies offered customizable photo strips, or have your names and date on them. They also posted our pictures on their Facebook page. I understand that everyone wants to see them, but one of my guests was mad that it was posted publicly. I guess I'd have liked more explicit asking of our permission before they were posted on their public page. It's a little creepy that total strangers who "like" their page can see our intimate wedding. All in all, my guests liked the booth and had fun with it, but they would have with a booth from any number of companies. These girls don't seem to have experience or a handle on good customer service, so I wouldn't recommend them.

Pickup here in this pretty tight lot was very quick and efficient!…read more There's enough space here for a few cars and their semi truck that backs up to the loading dock to pick up and drop off shipments of linens. I got there and rang the bell and they waved me to the loading dock to pick up my boxes. I had three very heavy boxes of linens (each box had between 50 and 75 chair covers). I trusted everything was correct in them because it'd be too hard to open up the bags and count each cover. I was given a little hand cart, loaded them up, and was on my way. Little did I know as well, that we were given a separate bag in one of the boxes of extra chair covers, so that was pretty cool. The return date for them was the next day. In the box, we had instructions of how the covers needed to be packed up and returned. Our wedding was on a Saturday, we tore down on Sunday, and had to return them on Monday. I know people get upset about needing to return things the next business day, but that's how it is because these companies need their stuff back to clean and reuse. We arrived back to this location late in the day on Monday, dropped off the three boxes, and were on our way. I'm sure they counted later on, but we didn't have any missing and were given no additional charges. Loved the experience renting linens from here from the very beginning to the very end! Thanks again for aiding in making our wedding wonderful!
