I tend to shop here from time to time, and usually it's a great experience! They have a large selection and the staff is very knowledgeable. However, they do have issues with shoplifting. With that being said, they are starting to act like normal customers are shoplifters. I get it, they're worried about losing their products, but not everyone is in there to steal. We had a woman follow us around tonight and it made us EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Granted it is an adult store, maybe couples like to be left alone to talk about what large purchase they would like to make... Not be followed around and eyeballed by an employee. If you're going to practice loss prevention, do it without making the customers feel uncomfortable. read more

They are not worth the time or thrill of purchasing a toy from. They have all counterfeit item's on the shelf and I mean all the inventory is counterfeit! They don't do refunds or even replacements . The manager is rude and doesn't give a crap if customers complain because she robbed them with the ridiculous high cost anyway I've spent well over $1200 in less than a year on crap that no longer work or just fell apart! It's ridiculous I have to shop their because it's the only adult shop in the area! I'm a stay at home mother and don't always want to drive another hour to buy whatever I'm going for. I have limited time to mommy and daddy so when i do have it it's time well spent ya know. And this store has robbed us over an over again. Wide variety of sex toys. The lady at the register was very friendly and mature when it came to explaining certain things. It was pricey but then again what sex store isn't, right? I visited Night Secrets in search of a gag gift for my friends wedding. I entered the facility with my brother (26) and my Hispanic-American friend (22). We had been in the store for approximately 5 minutes when a Caucasian lady approached us and asked for our IDs, I understand that there is a policy for only 18 years or old to enter but my entire group is clearly over 18. The lady proceeded to stare at my Hispanic friend up and down demanding our IDs, I have been to this establishment before and not been carded. My friend felt extremely discriminated and uncomfortable in the store after this encounter. We continued to browse the items, as we walked the lady who had demanded our IDs followed us around as if we had the intent of stealing. I am extremely disappointed in the staff and management of this establishment as it is clear that not all ethnicities and races are welcomed. Will not be coming back or buying anything in the future. read more

I came in to browse and pick up an item or two when in Hickory. I noticed after entering that the store is clean, displays and racks are tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I looked for a bit before deciding on a toy. A worker helped me, she assisted me when looking for a specific toy and guided me to others I might like. When I picked up my toy and took it to the register, she was extremely helpful and willing to demonstrate different items' functions when I asked about them and she tested my toy's functionality before I paid. She offered to sign me up for a rewards program and didn't push me to sign up, just gave me information about it. I ended up signing up and walking out with a new toy. This is a shop I'll definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. The customer service is fantastic, there was no judgement from staff, the store is nice and has variety, no complaints from me.
