My husband and I had an incredible experience working with our night doula, Jacqui. From the very beginning, she brought such a calming, warm, and reassuring presence into our home and immediately put us at ease as new parents. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and naturally wonderful with newborns. Not only did our daughter thrive under her care, but my husband and I were finally able to get much needed rest and feel more confident as parents. Jacqui also taught us so much along the way and always made us feel supported, never judged. We are so grateful for her help during those early months and truly cannot recommend her highly enough to any family looking for a compassionate and highly skilled doula. read more

We had a great experience with our doula, Katie. She was incredibly supportive during those first few weeks with our newborn and helped us so much. She was kind, caring, and always made us feel supported. She truly felt like the big sister I needed during such an important time. The only downside of my experience was the lactation support. I only attended two sessions because, unfortunately, they were very stressful. During the first visit, the lactation consultant arrived late, seemed rushed, and left me with a few nipple shields that ultimately didn't work well for me. At the end, I didn't end up using them because they weren't helpful. The second session felt very similar. It also felt rushed and stressful, and my baby became stressed as well. Because of those experiences, I decided not to continue with the lactation sessions. Overall, I'm very grateful for Katie's support, and she made a huge positive difference during our postpartum journey. read more

Postpartum is tough, but Jacqui made the experience so much easier for my family. She helped us with late nights so that I could actually rest and recover. With my first child, I barely slept which contributed to my PPD. But this time around, I wanted to be prepared so that I could recover from a repeat c section and so that my husband could have energy for our toddler. Jacqui helped us achieve that goal! Her communication was spectacular - particularly, we laid out plans for the night to help me sleep more. She also checked in with mine and my husband's emotional and mental health. I can't thank her enough for all that she's done for our family. I highly recommend Jacqui and Night & Day! read more

We are working with night and day for their lactation consultant services, and they've been fantastic. We opted for home visits, which are covered by insurance other than a travel fee. The team has been very kind, helpful, flexible, and supportive of our goals without being pushy. Highly recommend! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Night & Day! I've worked with Rachael twice now (both times for lactation support), and this past birth had the pleasure of working with Sarah (for lactation support) and Katie (as our Postpartum Doula). Rachael and Sarah are the dream team - incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic and genuine. I opted for in-home visits so it was incredibly convenient to welcome them to my home and know that they had me and my sons' best interests at heart. It was always great having the option to text for quick questions or do a video call if needed. Also, I love how they would send me a recap of our visit so I could reference at any time (because those first few weeks are a fog). Katie was also a dream - I honestly have no idea how I would've survived postpartum without her. Thanks to an employer benefit, I was able to have her services for 3 night shifts and 3 day shifts and she was instrumental to helping us juggle newborn life with a toddler at home. Katie went above and beyond to check-in with me before my baby was born as my last few weeks were a roller coaster. She made the space for us when he was born 3 weeks early, providing me with the emotional and physical support I needed after my c-section. My toddler son looked forward to her visits every time - she was incredibly sweet and took the time to bake with him, read with him and make sure I was able to spend 1:1 time with my newborn. Our family would be lost without her! read more

I worked with Rachael for both my babies and had an absolutely amazing experience each time. She is so great and provides insightful, helpful recommendations! I would recommend everyone to see the wonderful ladies at Night & Day. read more

Sarah was AMAZING through the entire breastfeeding journey and I could not have gotten through it without her. She is so knowledgeable and has a very kind, understanding and supportive approach. She always had lots of ideas and suggestions to try and in a world of social media where there is almost too much information out there it was so nice to be able to turn to her for guidance that I knew I could trust. The office was easy to get to with plenty of parking and a very comfortable environment. She was also able to do a home visit when our baby was only a week old which was super helpful! Could not recommend Night & Day services enough! read more

Wonderful experience with Night&Day! Sarah came to our house on a Monday morning, freshly postpartum when we really needed the support. We reviewed all of my questions and concerns and had a few weigh ins to check in on how much our baby was eating over the course of a feeding. Highly recommend the at home visit and will be recommending Night & Day to my post partum friends. read more

I cannot recommend Night and Day enough! I was referred to them by a friend and it was the best decision I made for me and my baby. I had 3 in home visits with Sarah where we did weighted feeds and I was able to ask any questions I had. Sarah provided me great advice. I started with an under supply and in the past 4 weeks, my supply has increased and I'm almost able to exclusively BF my baby. Sarah is so kind and patient and I'll forever remember her support on my BF journey! read more

We use Night & Day's in-home lactation services - they are phenomenal and I highly recommend to anyone in need of some breastfeeding assistance. This is our first baby, and he was born 5 weeks early, meaning we had a lot of things to work through! Our lactation consultant, Emma, is exceptionally knowledgeable but has a gentle way of sharing her wisdom that doesn't make me (hormonal, emotional new mom) feel silly or stupid. She is also thorough and reassuring. Moreover, the whole team is super quick to respond (many times after hours when I am panicking and have questions!). Scheduling with Anna is sooo easy - I love that I can do everything over text. read more

In month 7, and the breastfeeding journey has been smooth sailing since month 3, thanks to them!! I'd have been lost without their support. I will recommend them to anyone who asks, hands down! read more

Night & Day's thorough, nonjudgmental care made such a huge difference in my postpartum experience and mental health from becoming confident in breastfeeding & pumping (and then, weaning) to being a science-based and balanced sounding board for navigating sleep, baby wearing, and several other matters. I appreciated how kind both Sarah and Rachael were in each home visit, how information was shared without judgment or fearmongering, and how they validated my (and my partner's) parental instincts along the way. Thank you for being part of our new parent journey! read more

This is a long overdue review for the most wonderful service for new moms, experienced moms (and dads). I am so incredibly grateful for Rachael and all of her expertise during my postpartum journey. She is a life saver and the sweetest, kindest and most knowledgeable Lacation consultant there ever was! Her team is wonderful! Let me also write a very long overdue review on our wonderful, caring and loving doula Katie! We are truly blessed to have had her when our daughter was born. She helped us navigate through our new chapter as parents and we are so thankful she was there for us! Don't think twice about using this wonderful team! read more

I cannot speak highly enough about the lactation support services. It was not easy to breastfeed for us, but the consistent troubleshooting, home visits, weigh in's to provide reassurance made the process manageable. Sarah is who we saw the most often and she is consistently kind, warm, and a wonderful listener. It's easy to see she cares about the families she is working with. 100% recommend this service for first time parents wanting to breastfeed! read more

I can not recommend Katie Leonard enough for a postpartum doula! She brings in the most positive "big sister" energy, the exact type that is needed postpartum. Wish we could have her help forever, but the time she did spend with me and my newborn baby made an incredible impact in my entrance to motherhood. Thanks so much Katie! read more

I suggest Night and Day to every mom that is experiencing any challenges in breastfeeding! I have been so thankful for the care and detailed help I get and have ended every appointment feeling more confident and joyful. I met with Sarah and i would be in tears explaining the challenges and I was always met with patience, kindness, understanding and help, she had great and practical guidance, because of them I am over a year into my breastfeeding journey. thank you night and day! read more

This is a long overdue review as my son just turned one. But, I want to leave it as a warning to other moms to be as it's a very stressful and overwhelming time. I signed with Night and Day well in advance to my due date and since this was my first baby I signed up for her most expensive hands on package, Monatrice which was over $3,000. Initially everything went well. Sarah was flexible and came to our home at a convenient time to us since she had to cancel our appointment last minute after we had taken the time off of work. She answered all our questions and provided some birthing class recommendation. Once closer to my due date we found out that my son was breached so I had to have a schedule a c-section. In a messsge she mentioned she'd see me at the hospital after the c-section but never showed. Once getting back from the hospital she offered to come and help cook and clean since she didn't help give birth. Once at the house, she got concerned that I was sick (my ears felt like they had water in them due to do overproduction of milk- I soon after got mastitis) so she canceled her assistant from coming to help make us meals and instead focused solely on teaching me how to breastfeed - even though breastfeeding classes were covered by my insurance and I only had to pay $35 extra for their driving time. When my husband asked when they'd come to actually help us and make up for the $3000k service that she didn't have to do, Sarah responded that she already had and would come by once more around 6 months to check on post partum depression - she never did. Perhaps it would have been a much better experience and worth the price had she actually assisted with labor. But since she didn't, the way she handled things afterwards was very disappointing. So I definitely suggest asking what she would do if you end up having to do a c-section. Otherwise, it's a complete waste of money. read more

I worked with Emma as my lactation consultant after a difficult start to motherhood. I got an infection after an emergency csection and was unable to breastfeed for 3 weeks due to being in the hospital and on too many medications. I met with Emma after I was out to make sure my daughters transition from bottlefeeding to breastfeeding was seamless. We also went over my pump and she sized me correctly for the right flanges which made such a difference. Emma was like warm, informative and thorough in her consultations. After each meeting I received a document with our meeting and any takeaways. We only needed to meet twice and my girl is breastfeeding flawlessly. Highly recommend. read more

Im going to preface this review with the fact that I am a fourth time mom and have exclusively breastfed all my babies for over a year. When my youngest was born I thought I wouldn't have any issues with all my experience, however, (surprise!) every baby has their own journey. My youngest was losing weight and I couldn't figure out why. I started seeing Sarah at Night and Day Lactation via video chat when my baby was less than 2 weeks old. She was so helpful from the start giving me tips for both breastfeeding her and pumping. Eventually I ended up seeing her sister, Rachael, for home visits and I cannot be more grateful for all of her support and encouragement. This very seasoned breastfeeding mom was feeling extremely discouraged that I may not be able to breastfeed exclusively again but with a lot of hard work and so much support from Rachael, I can officially say I'm back at it (and only pumping once a day now so my husband can do the dream feed at night.) I enjoyed all of Rachael's visits and all of our talks! She is really non judgmental and makes you feel at ease. I truly felt like she was on my team and cared so much about my baby's progress. I love how you can text with questions at any time and they get back to you quickly. They also send you a care plan after your visits (so helpful to refer to when you're overwhelmed and sleep deprived) and notes to your pediatrician so everyone is on the same page. As much as I'm happy to be out of this phase of needing the lactation help, I will truly miss the visits! I would recommend Night and Day to anyone needing lactation or feeding support! read more

I am forever grateful for the breastfeeding support I received from Sarah. I don't think I'll ever forget having her come to my house when my baby was 4 days old, and the encouragement and reassurance it brought to be able to get her help and affirmation after what felt like an eternity (at the time!) of trying to figure out latching my baby on my own and having no idea if I was doing it right or if he was getting enough. It's a positive early postpartum memory I go back to often, as I nurse my now 1 year old, with gratitude for how far we've come. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. She really listens and gave me space to get all my breastfeeding troubles out there before sharing tips or feedback, and always left me with renewed enthusiasm and determination without ever being pushy. When my baby was unexpectedly diagnosed with a complex genetic condition impacting his feeding at 4 weeks old, she read up on it for our next visit. She helped teach my husband how to pace feed our baby a bottle of expressed milk, supported me through struggles with silent reflux and some really challenging months, and being able to easily schedule an appointment to do a weighed feed brought me so much peace of mind. I can confidently say that I would not still be nursing my baby (and going strong at 13 months!) without Sarah, and I wish every breastfeeding mother had access to this kind of care. Thank you! read more

It was my first pregnancy and I had just moved to San Diego from San Francisco so was looking for additional support throughout my pregnancy and labor. I interviewed a several other doulas I found on the internet and no one felt quite right - either very inexperienced and new to the profession or just not a good fit. I asked the OBGYN team at Scripps if they could recommend anyone and they mentioned Night and Day! I did a video call with Sarah and immediately felt comfortable. She was warm and sweet but also practical and straightforward. She was a clear communicator and her philosophy was to support whatever type of birth I wanted. We had a few video calls in the earlier parts of pregnancy and a home visit - all were great and she made me and my husband feel really comfortable. When labor started she was there every step of the way. You cannot imagine the sigh of relief when she arrived at my door as things really started going. Best of all, because she is licensed as a midwife/monatrice she was able to check my dilation at home so we could monitor progress and labor at home for as long as possible! Once we got to the hospital she worked in direct partnership with the nurses there to support me - from helping suggest and get me into different positions to keeping me hydrated, advocating for certain comfort measures, helping me brush my teeth, the list goes on. I could tell the nurses LOVED her! And most of all she was supporting my husband throughout the whole thing. My husband keeps saying "I don't know how people do it without Sarah!! We will definitely use her for the next baby!" Beyond Sarah's support during labor, Night and Day's postpartum support is amazing. Rachael, Sarah's sister, is an excellent lactation consultant and did multiple home visits to make sure everything was on track. She gave me great guidance to support BF issues that came up. If things felt like they were getting off base, we had a clear plan of action and she was just a text away. So it goes without saying, I highly recommend working with Sarah, Rachael and the whole Night and Day team!! You can't go wrong!! read more

I had the privilege of working with both Sarah (for a lactation support visit) and Katie as our Postpartum doula. Both of whom were amazing and offered so much support! Katie came to our home and provided excellent post partum support ranging from postpartum meal prep, education and training in newborn care, provided newborn care so I could rest and recover from my C-section, overnight support (getting some solid hours of sleep was a game changer!!), mental support to process the birth, and SO MUCH MORE. I firmly believe that having her support made all the (positive) difference in my post partum journey. She was truly incredible, I had (and continue to have) so much trust and respect for her. She was also able to help identify a medical need my son had which resulted in us getting him the proper care before it worsened, I will never be able to thank her enough for that alone! I also was able to work with Sarah for a lactation visit, that Katie helped arrange due to some difficulties I was experiencing with breastfeeding. Sarah was incredibly supportive and helpful and I left that visit with the support and confidence I needed to continue my breastfeeding journey (still going strong at 7.5 months postpartum!). I don't think my breastfeeding journey would be as successful without each of their support and knowledge. If we are blessed with a second child, I look forward to working with Night and Day again (and hopefully Katie and Sarah specifically:)). read more

UCSD suggested in home lactation consulting when my baby girl was born, not because I was having any issues but because why not? And because it's covered by insurance! I have to say that from all the books I've read, tips I've gotten from friends and family, gadgets and gizmos I've purchased, having Rachael come in and help with lactation has been BY FAR the best thing I have done for my first time mommy and breastfeeding journey. She is so smart, so thoughtful, so reassuring. She helps with positions to breastfeed, getting a good latch, how much baby should be drinking, how to pump and breastfeed, how to transition to pumping while going back to work, and so so much more. She also caught on to baby's tongue and lip tie and referred me to an amazing pediatric dentist. I has the surgery done today and already baby is latching so much better. I could not say enough good things about Rachael. She is the resource I didn't know I needed and I think every single person who doesn't get in home lactation consulting is doing themselves a disservice, especially because it's paid for by insurance!! A no brainer! read more

Incredible lactation support from a caring, knowledgeable individual. Would highly recommend!

I contacted Night & Day because my 3mo old's weight had began slowing down pretty significantly. Sarah was wonderful! Meeting with her and following the care plan she created helped our baby start gaining again, plus he started to sleep better too. I wish we had seen her sooner! Highly recommend seeing Sarah for any of your breastfeeding needs! read more

Emma was a wonderful lactation consultant! The whole appointment felt very comfortable and she answered every question I had. If you are even slightly concerned about breastfeeding, do not hesitate! read more

Beyond grateful for Sarah, Brittany and Rachael. I felt more confident in having a second baby knowing that they would be there throughout my pregnancy, scheduled c-section and postpartum experience. No matter what way you are planning to birth your child (all are exceptional - you go mamas!), I cannot recommend their care enough. You are in the BEST care with Night & Day. My husband and I had a rollercoaster of a first birth and I made the decision to do a scheduled c-section. Sarah was with me every step of the way. We prepared for the months leading up, walked into the hospital together at 5am, and when I came out of the c-section she was the first face my husband and I saw. She didn't leave our side until she felt confident that we were recovering well, that the baby was latching and that we were okay emotionally. She is incredible for advocating on your behalf and her skills enabled me and my husband to get more sleep, recover faster, and to enjoy those first few days. In coming home from the hospital, we were so lucky to have Brittany's care. Brittany provided night doula care, so that we could focus on recovery and sleep, while she cared for our newborn, replenished our bodies with warm meals, provided breastfeeding support and helped clean breast pump parts. She is an angel and we miss having her infectious laugh, bright smile and warm heart in our home. In the days following the hospital Rachael came to help provide breastfeeding support. She is an incredible listener and extremely patient as we worked to improve my son's latch. I've learned so much through working with her and feel much less stressed about my ability to feed to my son. Thank you to the entire family at Night & Day, we are beyond grateful and love you dearly. read more

We absolutely loved our experience with the Night & Day team. We had the pleasure to connect with Sarah, Brittany, and Rachael during my pregnancy/postpartum; Sarah was the doula/monatrice by our side during the delivery. Before the delivery, we had the opportunity to spend hours with Brittany and Sarah getting comfortable and setting a clear vision for our birth plan. The guidance and support they provided was COMPLETELY different than what my normal OB/GYN provides. They helped us prepare for the birth with tools and tricks to prepare my body and mind for the life changing experience. While the birth did not go as planned (we ended up with an induction), the experience was still perfectly beautiful. We felt so supported in making the right decisions for us during the delivery with Sarah in the room. At the hospital, the nurses rotate as shift changes come and go ... the doctor arrives only for key moments... we were so happy to have someone to consistently provide us support and guidance throughout the 21 hours of labor/delivery. As we drove home from the hospital with our beautiful daughter, we were so thankful we had brought in extra support. After the baby arrived, Rachael was exceptionally helpful in helping me and our baby get comfortable with breastfeeding. She is now two weeks old and we are in a great rhythm. read more

We used Sarah for virtual doula support. I didn't feel the need for in-person support during my birth but still wanted support throughout my pregnancy and birth as questions arose. Sarah helped us with pain management techniques, nutrition questions, etc. I felt 100% supported every step of the way and never judged throughout the entire process no matter what my vision was for my birth. Full transparency, my company reimbursed us for Doula services but I highly recommend! read more

This review is LOOOONG overdue but I truly cannot say enough good things about Sarah and my experience with her being my Doula for my first born! From the initial consult with her, I felt so connect and excited that she would be involved in my pregnancy and child birth experience. She was professional, responsive, knowledgable, and so incredibly kind and warm. My husband and I looked forward to every session with Sarah and always appreciated the resources she would provide and how thoughtful she was in how she presented information and answered our questions! My baby was due August 2022, but ended up coming 8 weeks early which was terrifying to say the least! My labor experience was "quick" but not what we wanted at 32 weeks. I was admitted for preterm labor with the hopes of staying pregnant, but 12 hours after I arrived to the hospital, my son was born. The day consisted of being rushed back to the OR 3 separate times due to his heart rate dropping and the doctors calling for an emergency c-section while leaving my husband in the L&D room wondering what the heck was happening and being so scared. It was not at all the experience we were hoping for! We called Sarah after I returned back to the L&D room from the first chaotic trip the the OR after my baby's heart rate was able to stabilize and she immediately offered to come to the hospital! Although it was a very scary situation, I would still say I had a very positive birth experience and that is largely due to Sarah! She was able to be supportive to both myself and my husband, be a sounding board when trying to determine our best course of action and the possibilities of the day ahead. I wanted to have an unmedicated birth, but being admitted 8 weeks early, I initially felt like that possibility was smaller. Sarah was HUGE in helping me achieve the goal of having an unmedicated vaginal birth against all odds and all trips to the OR (which is where I actually ended up giving birth)! She was calm, warm, knowledgable, supportive both emotionally and physically as she would apply counter pressure, massage my back, and help with pain management. She was everything I needed in those moments of fear and pain to bring my beautiful baby into the world! Her support did not stop after the birth! Our baby had a NICU stay for several weeks and Sarah came to visit my husband and I and bring us lunch and checked in on how we were feeling emotionally and how I was feeling physically. We had our final postpartum visit with her after we were home and she made it clear she was available if we needed her and that she was still our Doula even after birth! It was truly a blessing to have her involved and I am forever grateful to her and all she did for my family! She will be one of the first calls I make when I get pregnant again and will absolutely be using her services again! read more

I hired Night & Day for my doula services and lactation consulting. I wish i could leave a 10 star rating. My friend told me "when hiring a doula you should like them so much you'd want them as a sister, and if you don't feel that way, you don't need them". I truly loved and looked forward to my visits with Sarah and Rachael. They were so kind, so generous with their knowledge and time, so comforting and really made me feel like I could be truly me in a time I felt so incredibly vulnerable. Why am I tearing up writing this? The postpartum hormones- maybe? But also just feeling the gratitude for being so supported by such an amazing group when I was feeling so raw. read more

Hands down the best investment we made in our birthing journey! You can read further but if you're reading reviews to decide whether to hire Night and day or not-just do it!!!! I didn't realize just how important having Sarah as part of our team would be! My husband didn't really understand either but now he says he would have paid double knowing now how valuable she was. :) I knew I wanted a Sarah to be our doula when I found out I was pregnant because I had already heard so many amazing things about her as a doula. but as it was our first I didn't really know all that was involved in having a doula. Sarah was wonderful at answering all our questions, informing us of necessary information and helping us prepare for the big day. She was supportive of our choices and willing to work to make our birth plan happen. To me having a doula is so important because 1. I didn't have to worry about when I should go to the hospital or how I was progressing and she reminded me and my husband to eat and rest when possible and my husband didn't have to stress as much because he always had someone on hand to consult with if he had questions instead of directing them to me. So I was able just to focus on my body and the process and not absorb any anxious energy that he had. 2. It took away my anxiety. I wasn't anxious about anything really because I knew there was someone there the whole time to consult with that had many years of experience helping bring babies into the world. I also didn't have to worry about being at the hospital and feeling pressured by doctors or nurses because I knew I had someone who could fill in the gaps of communication and be my liaison in a way. I truly believe I was able to have a natural hospital birth thanks to Sarah and her support. She was an incredible cheerleader and even helped with hip squeezes (which are no easy feat! haha) as a first time dad my husband had no idea what to do in this situation but she gave my husband the confidence and guidance to be able to be a huge helper to me by providing tips and suggestions and explaining the steps of the process to him as things were happening. I didn't realize that he needed a cheerleader too and Sarah provided that. I cannot shout her praises enough!!! I was also seen by Rachael postpartum for nursing issues and she gave incredible tips and was so kind and helpful. She weighed the baby for us and was so positive and encouraging. Exactly what a new nursing mama needs. I would choose night and day all over again in a heartbeat. If you're trying to birth on a budget I know sometimes the extra money may make you think that you don't need it and that you can do without but trust me when I say that it is worth the investment!!! read more

The support, professionalism and experience of Night and Day Doulas is worth every penny. We recently had our first child and the support for myself and my wife was exceptional. While they weren't allowed directly in the birthing center, they were in person every other step of the way up until the final moments in the hospital in which I put Sarah on FaceTime and just the comfort of her voice and encouragement helped calm my nerves and sooth my wife into a very successful natural birth. I couldn't be happier with the entire team in their willingness to go above and beyond in support of our birth. I highly recommend Night and Day Doulas and thank them for their continued efforts. read more

Early on my daughter had trouble latching, so I was referred to Night and Day. I received an immediate response and someone out for a consultation within the next day or two. I highly recommend Night and Day. read more

My experience with Night & Day, specifically Emma, was beyond amazing. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with my first child and breast feeding was not anything that I thought it would be. I had every challenge imaginable and Emma helped me along my entire journey. She was the support and encouragement that I needed. She fit me in her schedule when I needed additional help, texted me to check up almost daily, and would just sit and brainstorm, using her experience and knowledge to find what would work with me and my son. Highly recommend Night & Day and Emma! read more

I honestly wish I could give more stars! My husband and I were recommended to reach out to night and day by our pediatrician when I was struggling with breastfeeding our first baby and I couldn't be more grateful! We reached out and were able to be seen right away. First thing, it was so amazing to be in the comfort of our own home, that alone relieved some stress from having to plan and prepare to travel with our newborn. Sarah came to our home and instantly I knew we were in good hands. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is so knowledgeable and made me feel so much better every step of the way through our journey. She is warm and kind and was just like part of our family. Her support has meant so much to us and I would and will definitely recommend her. If we decide to grow our family I will definitely be reaching back out! Thank you so much! read more

My experience with Night and Day San Diego far surpassed our expectations and I cannot recommend this team enough! I was planning to have a natural birth, so I sought out a doula team that had a more holistic, natural approach to labor and delivery. Brittany and Sarah had the perfect balance of being holistically minded while still highly experienced and educated in modern conventional birthing, which made me feel safe and taken care of in the high chance things did not go as I planned. What won me over was Brittany and Sarah's warm, compassionate and genuine approach in building a relationship with my husband and I. They begin this early in the prenatal stage, getting to know the in's and outs of our family plan, our preferences and deep set wishes in our ideal birthing process. We met as a team, in person, frequently and they were always available via email during my pregnancy; something I did not expect from a doula team that typically folds into the end of the process! I truly felt like I did not just have a birth team, but a prenatal team as well. They supported me with my supplementation, nutrition, stress and anxiety through covid-19, and ultimately led us through a low-risk pregnancy. Sarah was a rockstar during my labor. While unfortunately she could not be with us in the hospital due to the coronavirus, she had set my husband and I up for success in navigating the process. We were still able to labor at home together, as planned, and Sarah made us feel safe, confident and held space for a really positive environment and experience. We now have a healthy, happy baby girl and could not be more grateful for Sarah and Brittany. They even held follow up consults after birth to ensure the three of us were doing well. I cannot recommend Day and Night enough - for the conscious momma that wants to feel like she has a team behind her the entire way. **Pro tip: Be sure to work with Sarah's sister, Rachel, for lactation support! No surprise, she is incredible! read more

We got a referral for lactation support when my son was about 3 weeks old, our insurance covered it (Yay!), but honestly I would have paid out of pocket. Rachael was our lactation consultant and she was wonderful. She was very warm, supportive and very knowledgeable. She gave me some tips and strategies to help with my BF journey and I am happy to say we are still going strong with exclusively breastfeeding at 9 weeks which is huge for me. I only made it about 2 weeks with my first son. I honestly think I would have given up sooner if it wasn't for Rachael's help! If you're on the fence or debating giving up, reach out for help, you deserve it! read more

If I could give these ladies 10 stars I would. Its difficult to put into words how invaluable Sarah and Brittany's assistance in my pregnancy was. They were so supportive and helpful throughout. I was planning a home birth but due to Gestational Diabetes I had to change my plan to a hospital birth. Having Sarah and Brittany as my doulas made my hospital birth seem as close to home as possible. They reassured me, attended to my needs and comforted me and my husband. They even held my legs as I gave birth! Can you get more "hands on" than that? Child birth is a very personal and life changing experience and you need support. I was so comforted having these ladies in my corner and I would highly recommend them to any pregnant woman. read more
