Some unusually shrubs and trees as well as herbaceous plants. If you need a lot of plants of one kind for your landscape, you can get smaller sizes here (3-4" pots) and save a lot of money over quarts found at other nurseries, which basically buy from Bluebird wholesale and then grow them into quart size containers. For example, I needed a lot of ground cover Veronica and they were able to provide them at a reasonable price. Summer sales in August help also. The people are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is worth a drive through the rolling hills of eastern Nebraska to buy from Gardenland. Only about 2 hours from Lincoln/Omaha so makes a nice day trip.

We went for my nephew who's a natural biologist and got there at close but they were nice enough to stay open so we could browse. I would recommend this place for someone looking for good size trees or unusual plants not found at the "big box" stores. We're looking forward to going back.
