The quality of her photography is so immediately apparent that I never wanted her to stop taking pictures. It is so clear that photography is what Kimberly was meant to do, and for those of us that get to work with her, we are so lucky she's in this profession. Being a wedding photographer takes a certain skillset that Kimberly exemplifies a million times over. We are so fortunate that we only only got to work with Kimberly for our wedding, but for our engagement photos as well. Walking into those engagement photos a ball of nerves, Kim immediately made us feel at ease and gave direction to two people who had never done a photo shoot like that before. Our engagement photos turned out so stunning, and we had a great afternoon laughing and truly having a great time with Kim. On the day of our wedding, Kim was not only an incredible communicator and so prompt, but flawlessly wrangled the 12 members of our bridal party and the two of us getting married into some truly amazing shots. Her ability to give direction in such a clear way makes everything so much easier and taking photos before our wedding truly flew by. Her excitement to show you a great shot also adds to the excitement of the day - she is constantly keeping things fresh even when taking photos would otherwise feel like a long event. I cannot say enough great things about Kim and her second, Connor. They were so patient with us during the wedding and so kind to everyone who needed to be in photos, which, when you are taking family photos for quite some time, takes finessing and endless composure. Kim is everything. She also provided personal photo mementos at the end of the night that were entirely unexpected, so we got to leave our wedding with photos in hand already. I am so SO happy we were able to work together throughout our whole wedding. If you have the chance to work with Into Dust for any event you're planning, jump on the opportunity. She is the best!

During that first meeting, Stephanie made sure to walk through the general look and feel of what she'd be doing during our wedding. We went over a pretty comprehensive list of family/group shots that we wanted, and she assured us that the day was going to be special. When she showed up for the day of the wedding, she was prepared and professional and definitely knew how to handle two anxious grooms who were running around making sure everything was good for the festivities. My partner and I just let Stephanie take the reins for how our photos were done, and I'm sure she would have preferred a *little* guidance, we're so glad we did, because her ideas were better than anything we could have come up with. Also, having that list of group shots was so important, because it made taking pictures with all of our family and friends fly by. As for the ceremony and reception, Stephanie was adept at blending in/not being noticed while capturing all the memories we could hope for. The pictures have been fantastic, and I don't know if there's a better person who can take two awkward guys, put them in what seem like awkward poses, and make beautiful pictures. Thank you so much Stephanie!

Ricardo did a fabulous job shooting our wedding, rolled with the punches (weather! low lighting!…read morerebellious toddlers!) and got a good number of images back to me within half as many days as we'd agreed to. Before the wedding we met once to go over logistics and agree on a shot list. The meeting was pleasant and I left feeling confident that he understood what we wanted - mostly candids of our guests enjoying themselves during the reception and a quick family photo session in the park immediately following our ceremony. On the day of my wedding, about two hours before we were supposed to meet at Brooklyn Bridge Park we had to call off the park ceremony due to rain. We also pushed everything back an hour. Ricardo was very understanding and when I showed up at The Green Building (our reception venue) he was already there with his assistent, had shot all my precious little DIY details before the guests had a chance to settle in, and expertly captured our ceremony in a much different setting than we'd discussed. During the party I didn't even know he was there, which to me is a good thing. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of our shots and would 100% recommend Ricardo and Leon Images to a friend. In fact, I already have.

For someone who has never had professional makeup done before, and wears very little, I was so impressed by how gorgeous it turned out in the pictures. These are just a few words that come to my mind when I think about Ksenia, our amazing wedding photographer. I'm not sure my review can do her justice because Ksenia was my favorite professional to work with and one of the best decisions I made during the stressful wedding planning. I immediately fell in love with her aesthetic when I looked at her portfolio and knew our wedding photos would come out exactly as I would have wanted if we worked with her. But what really put Ksenia above all others was her professional and happy attitude that she puts into working with her clients. During our meetings, Ksenia was very positive and even though my husband wasn't too keen on hiring a photographer and having to pose for so many photos, Ksenia came up with creative ways to appease him that allowed us to get our photos in but also got maximum time to spend with her guests. You really don't know what it's like to work with a photographer until the day of and I know it can be scary but let me tell you that Ksenia was the one that put us and our guests' minds as ease when things didn't go as planned. She maintained her positive and happy demeanor throughout the entire long wedding day and snapped all the beautiful moments of the day. I had the pleasure of hiring her for both the rehearsal dinner cruise the night before and the wedding day so I got to see her in action TWICE! She was so on it. All our guests commented on how she was not intrusive in taking photos but she was Workin' it all night! She was everywhere!! I don't know how that's even possible. On the wedding day, she had an assistant who helped her be even more present everywhere. It was such a dream working with Ksenia and I highly highly recommend her for your wedding photographer if you are even slightly drawn to her aesthetic. You will NOT regret it. Tip for the Bride & Groom - the only thing I wish I did better in the photos department is I wish I wrote out a better list of photos I wanted to get done and planned out exactly when they were going to happen. I half planned that part and thought it could happen naturally but that is just not the case in weddings.....In the moment I thought would be OK but afterwards regretted not taking every single photo I wanted. I should've told Ksenia to hold me accountable to what I said I wanted before the wedding started because my brain didn't work the same once it started (too caught up in the moment). I'm grateful I had two days to get all the photos in though so it worked out for me but if you only have one day, plan it out to the T!
