It was the free wine tasting that drew me inside, a flight of 3 whites, 3 reds, and 2 aperitifs.
It was the friendly French wine makers who had an unusual fondness for Michigan (Michigan, really?) that had me in there for nearly an hour, sipping and browsing and eventually purchasing the most unusual sparkling red wine I've ever had the enjoyment of unabashedly guzzling.
It was the prices that didn't allow me to leave empty handed.
And it was all good.
