I reached out to Nick after waiting for three months (October 2024) for Welkers Ontime Clock Repair to get back to me regarding repairing my grandfather clock; Mr. Welker had initially told me he would be in touch in 3 weeks. I never heard a word and when I tried to call again on January 6th, I couldn't even leave a message because his voice mail box was full. So I looked online on that same day and reached out to Nick's Clock Repair out of McKean. I left a message and Nick called me back that same day! He travelled to my house on January 8th (I live in Meadville) and had my clock running very quickly. He was diligent in making sure the "tik tok" was even. I can't say enough about the guy. He has a vast knowledge on all types of clocks. I have brought him about six different clocks over the years and he has repaired all of them. School house clock which was over a hundred years old, a mantel clock, a wall clock, he has come to my house for my grandfather clock and has worked on a couple of other clocks. We had a family heirloom bakers clock that's about 90 years old that would run about 4-5 hours and stop. I have my grandparents Seth Thomas Mantle clock. It was their wedding gift and they were married in 1916 so the clock is over 100 years old. It hadn't worked in 40 years or more.
