Deyonker Window and Door, did our smaller house windows and large bedroom windows back about 11…read moreyears ago, they were terrific, so we knew we could trust them, and a few years later, they did our door wall on our walk out, so now, we had them do our large picture front window at our home, Dan came out and gave us the estimate, he then came out a second time to double check measurements, take a deposit, then they ordered the window from the factory and approximately 4 months later they were here to install it. This was a custom order, thats why it took so long. My other windows didnt take this long, they were in stock. As you can see from the pictures its is very large. They came with a very large crew and had it done in about 7 hours. This included the custom molding that they cut on site and put on, all we had to do was paint it. The crew was very polite and respectful, they laid out tarps before they even started, and they brought in and used an air compressor that was so quiet i could talk right next to it. Mark and some of the crew had been here before on our previous install. This to me indicates a company who not only keeps employees who do good work, but gives us customers an excellent job. Thank you DeYonker Window My first picture in this review is them just starting to put the trim on, the other one is the finished window, and the last pic is the front window with our side window, and these are all Anderson Windows. They also did the window in our closet on the same day, which was the last window in the house to be replaced.

I selected DeYonker because they have 1 installation crew with significant experience.; they didn't disappoint. With the others, they have multiple crews & you never know who you are going to get. From a price perspective, DeYonker was extremely competitive compared to the other preferred vendors. The installation went extremely smooth & the windows turned out beautiful.

Let me start by saying that i know the contractors in this area are VERY busy, and finding one that…read morecan get you into their schedule is a task in and of itself. Finding a good one is probably even more difficult. But let's address the issue of professionalism.... I called Avalon with a multi-faceted project that needs to happen at my house. Floor joist replacement, porch cap, framing in a roof over my front porch, and then reroofing the whole house. Not exactly a small job. Talked to Patrick, explained the work that needs to be done. He said he would call to set up an appointment the next morning when he was near his calendar. Didn't call the next morning, so i called him. We set up an appointment for the next week. He never showed. Didn't call. Just didn't show. So, while my review is not a review of the quality of work this company does, it IS a review of their complete lack of professionalism. I can only guess that this lack of professionalism extends to the work they do.

I called Mike again and he took the time to come out again and look at the project and explain in detail what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. For the amount of work and seriousness of this project, Mike's price was more than fair. He emailed me a detailed list of what work would be performed and the total. He was easy to reach by phone, always on time and just a really good, stand up guy.The house was built incorrectly from the beginning in 1977. Avalon had to come in and cut the basement floor, pour concrete, put in a new foundation pole, let it cure for a week, then jack up the house from the basement, put in a new header, put the house back down on the new pole/header. Then go to the first floor and again, jack the entire second floor up, tear out old warped header, put in two new headers in two different areas and then set the entire second floor back down on the new headers. Also, the subfloor was warped so they ripped out the subfloor, straightened everything out and put in new 1/2" plywood in the areas needed. Very, very professional. This was a very hard job and as you can imagine, I was worried beyond belief that I made the wrong choice in buying this home. Mike at Avalon made me feel secure.

We had raised flower beds made with decorative retaining wall bricks that became uneven and out of alignment over 20 years. Time for an update. We had Joe out in early spring to take measurements and make the estimate. What a guy, but I would expect nothing less from Sal and his crew! Sal and his team arrived in July and started working, tearing out the old beds including plant materials. Forms were made, concrete was poured and finished, all on day one. Next day they returned to expose the aggregate, stain and seal everything up. Beautiful result completed in just two days. Amazing work! If you're not dealing with Sal and Unique you don't have the best! Check out the photos
