At 3:36 I decided to call him. He said yeah I cannot make it, not today and actually not for weeks. I said he should have let me know and he said nothing. I told him I would be making sure to review him and he called me a DICK and said go ahead and told me to F myself. So I DO not recommend this company at all. WOW!

Matt and his crew were far cheaper, efficient, hard working, thorough, communicative, fast and deserve all 5 stars from me. I even volunteer helped control car traffic for them as we live close to an intersection while they chopped down the nuisance Maple Tree. That tree should have never been planted had landscapers used common sense long ago in a new subdivision, and they made other poor judgment calls like placing cheap cedar hedges between front of homes that grow monstrous tall to spawn roof moss, excessive law shade, poor street visibility, etc. dah! I even gave their business card to a new renter 7 months later, as he too made inquiries to be shocked at high fees from others. Matt was contacted and they did the job in late summer 2022, and I kept my word in recommending them highly. Like Monica. B's review beforehand, we agree and our new neighbors too, great job Matt and crew. Kerwin Maude

Mike and his team have done a couple of projects for me already. All i can say is that in this line of work, honesty and integrity is very important. Mike has an abundance of both. He is very professional and does not inflate prices like others. He even goes the extra mile by providing a few extras if he can. Highly reliable and efficient. Does excellent work and finishes on time and on budget. He is also very open to communication and will always listen to your ideas and provide excellent suggestions. I kid you not, I contacted over 17 contractors for information and quotes. Some never showed up,…read moresome had outrageous quotes, some didn't know what they were talking about. And then we met Ivan. Within a few minutes I was confident this was the contractor for us. His knowledge of what we really needed, what products they would use and patience in explaining everything to us clearly helped us make our decision to go with Coquitlam Retaining Walls on the spot. Pricing was fair - right in the middle of the pack, and although they were very busy and we knew we would have to wait a couple of months for them - we decided to go with Ivan and his crew. Once here, It took them a little over a week to get everything done - A couple trips back for little tweaks here and there and keeping the neighbours happy too. The guys made recommendations on slight changes to our original plan. Listen to them, they know what they're doing, we're so glad we did! Now placing our fence will be so much easier, and our wall looks great! We are so thrilled with the work. We know our retaining wall is now solid and going to hold our property in place! The pictures don't really do it justice as we are still waiting for pavers to come and pave over the gravel up to the edge of the wall. Both neighbours - after watching Ante, Marco, Shawn, Bruno and Junior work on our wall, are hoping to have them back to do some work in their yards. Those guys are beasts! I know I've written too much but I'm just so pleased and we went through so much to get to where we're at now. if you want to save yourself a lot of time trying to find a great contractor call Coquitlam Retaining Walls first. A fabulous family run company with Ivan leading the team , Iva in the office taking care of all the paperwork and needy customers like myself, then Ante and Marco (2 more brothers) along with the rest of the crew, coming and putting it all together. Those guys work long and hard! And always pleasant and respectful. We Absolutely highly recommend Coquitlam retaining walls! Thanks to you all for putting in our wall and making us feel safe and comfortable in our home again.

When hired initially, the manager asked residents what they wanted, with…read moremyself and my neighbors clearly stating privacy from the street with the evergreens was top priority. Regular maintenance is needed and welcome, but often then just "dialed it in" by making noise with the blower weekly, but some areas were neglected for months or years. They disrespected residents repeated requests and went ahead and overcut the large evergreen Rhotos at the worst possible time, when heavy construction for a new building was underway directly across the road. DO NOT HIRE this company, you will regret it and they overprune. It may take years for your evergreens and privacy to grow back, if at all.
