Apparently,l she was just squeezing me in between her other, customer (a hair color procedure}although, my appointment was made several months ago. The time she spent with me was 15 minutes. She did not ask me how much I wanted trimmed etc. I had to stop her and tell her how much I wanted trimmed. She was clearly rushing me through the service. I was very clear on how I wanted my hair cut; I have shoulder length hair and wanted a precision cut, slightly longer just in front of the ear. What I got was about the worst hair cut I have ever had. Some areas were, one inch longer on the top layer. I called and she had me come back only to trim a very small area on the left side of my head. On her business card Ms. Shpiro calls herself a, " Master Designer." I question, how she got that designation. When I attempted to explain what I wanted done to my hair, she turned her back on me and said, " she had been cutting hair for 50 years, and knew how to do it. She also told me, "I guarantee my work." I was not about to have her wack on my hair a third time therefore, I found another hairdresser that took her time and did exactly what I asked her to do. Ms Shapiro, refused to give me a refund. So much for her guarantee. In less than a weeks time, I paid her $45.00 and my new stylist $60.00 total $105.00. I do not recommend Ms. Shapiro to anyone.

I called Jen and was offered a consult, she spent a half hour with me discussing everything from the procedure to my personal skin care routine. She's someone who tells you what you need to hear, not what benefits her. I almost got this done 1 week before being in a wedding - and the other "spa" said it was "perfect timing" while Jen immediately said NO. She also spent 2 hours to make my brows look perfect (at my later booked appointment- post wedding thank goodness!!). She is not a "microblader" she is a knowledgeable and meticulous eyebrow artist and her work speaks for itself. So thankful for her honesty and AMAZING work. I couldn't recommend her enough. We had 7 people get their makeup done by Hellianna. 7 people of varying age, skin texture, and makeup preference; and we all walked away feeling our absolute best. My biggest desire for my wedding day was to feel unrushed, unpressured and beautiful. Hellianna showed up and it felt like we knew her for years. She was laid back, patient and so in touch with our vibe. She talked with each of us, understood our vision and quickly got to work. I typically don't wear a lot of makeup so I was worried about feeling "too glam" or unlike myself with professional makeup. I also have trouble skin with lots of acne scars so I was worried about those being visible. What I loved about Hellianna's work was that I had full coverage, but you could not tell I was wearing a lot of makeup. She highlighted my features and elevated what was already there while making my makeup look very natural and elegant. She gave me a subtle cat eye (my one true request) and put on these beautiful, but natural looking false eyelashes. I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe I was looking at my self! Hellianna was not only talented, but just an overall beautiful soul. I think your wedding day (or any special day) will only be elevated by having Hellianna on your team. Our bridal party has a bit large for one person so Hellianna coordinated a second professional for our hair, Ash. I expected someone to turn down a large party but instead she accommodated our request and coordinated Ash's services, who turned out to be yet another beautiful addition to our wedding day.
