They also like to push their overpriced services on you so you will apply for care credit or one of the other payment plan options so they can get more money from you (they get a kickback from these services every time someone uses them through their office). All the people saying how nice and how clean this office is obviously have not ever stepped foot inside an actual nice office because this place is outdated in everything from the furniture to the decor and there is nothing nice about it including the part of town it is in! I personally will never step foot inside this joke of a dental office again! ZERO star rating! Only gave 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review!

Recently I had to have an upper molar which connects to your sinuses, surgically removed. Although…read morelocal was injected at the site and I did not feel pain there, I felt much pain from my lower jaw muscles and other adjacent teeth being pried against to remove the tooth. The drilling into the jaw bone created pain and a severe headache. I had to even make them stop to take a break because my respirations and heart rate had increased so much I was dizzy. It took 2.5 hours of drilling, prying and pulling to remove the cracked tooth. The tooth had fused to my maxilla bone because a root canal had been performed on it some years before. I begged for Nitrous Oxide gas or to be given even a Valium to relax and/or aid in the pain relief, but was refused. It is documented N.O gas does aid in pain relief along with providing relaxation. I was told Tylenol should take care of any pain after the surgery. Trauma to the bone creates more pain than any other pain. I was told by the receptionist that the insurance my employer switched to was fighting their office of scheduled fees. That is not my fault. I paid over half of the bill at the conclusion of that torture because of how little the receptionist stated they would receive from the insurance company. I am an Operating Room Registered Nurse, and would NEVER have permitted a surgeon to treat one of our patients so inhumanely. The headache lasted several days afterwards, along with severe pain mainly from my lower jaw of being pried against with significant force for so long. I could not speak, or eat for nearly 3 days afterwards. If you need a tooth extraction, find another oral surgeon.

Not sure which universe the first person to review was living in when she reviewed this place…read more.. the staff was very nice and personable, unlike the other oral surgeon's office I spoke with. Things seemed a bit rushed, but being in the middle of a pandemic, I totally understand them trying to get as many people seen while still adhering to the mandates in our state right now. I went in to get an infected tooth pulled last month, during the visit I got a wisdom teeth consult and an appointment for wisdom teeth extraction. Dr Weaver was very nice and explained everything he was doing and why. Wisdom teeth came out yesterday. Staff again was very nice. Tech talked to me a bit, as I was getting wisdom teeth out with local and not general and I was a bit nervous. Dr Weaver came in and showed me the x-ray, talked about what he was going to do, gave me local anesthesia and let it do its thing. Tech came in to check on me again a couple of times. Once I was numb it was literally less than five minutes and all 4 of those pesky wisdom teeth were out, no cuts or stitches, minimal pain. I've only taken ibuprofen a couple of times since the appointment. I hope I don't have a lot of other oral surgeries needed, but if I do, I'll be making all future appointments with Sokolosky and Weaver.

Then every since I got my crown fixed on February 2 the left side of my mouth has been throbbing to the point where I can't sleep. I would recommend going somewhere else.
