I came in with a broken tooth, thinking I needed a crown, but he handled the situation, no crown needed and genuinely walked through every step of what he was doing and why. I have high anxiety with dentistry but this office, Zoey in particular the assistant, absolutely everyone in the office was kind, courteous and my anxiety dropped almost immediately, I rarely write reviews, and more rarely about dentists. My husband suffered 4 days before finally being seen by this dentist. The dentist suggested a root canal. After prescribing antibiotics (that did not work) he had to wait even longer with severe pain and a swollen face/neck before new antibiotics were called in! We then went to a dentist ($1500.10) and had the root canal done. Well, after a lot of money the tooth cracked. We went back to Dr. McShane ($250) and he sent us to have the tooth pulled ($520.00). Now without the tooth my husband is chewing fine and all is well. After a grand total of $2270.10 and a week of severe toothache pain for a tooth (that he went to have pulled in the first place) we can honestly say to avoid his practice. I wish I could give that practice a negative number!

The one who did my treatment was so wonderful. She explained everything, she took her time. She kept checking in on me to make sure that I was OK. she was just wonderful. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. It was a very comfortable experience. The only suggestion that I have is that the woman that check me out was a tad grumpy. I couldn't get her to smile for the life of me. She was not unpleasant, she was just distant. All the other people were so nice, that when I got to her, it was kind of uncomfortable. Besides that, I would absolutely recommend 100% Steliotes Dental!

My sons' (18 mos) pediatrician recommended a dentist visit because he has most of his teeth. I was a little hesitant because of his attention span. My husband spoke to the Dr. Hanna's receptionist and she told us they usually don't do exams until they are at least 2 1/2 but to bring him in anyway. The assistants and Dr. Hanna were extremely friendly to us and they basically put him in the chair to make him feel comfortable and tried to peak around. (No charge) As far as my experience, the assistant I had was amazing and so knowledgable, friendly and helpful! She took her time to get to know me and made me feel comfortable enough to ask any questions. I dread going to the dentist, so going now makes it a whole lot easier!

He came recommended as my family is also in dentistry. Again, we were at his mercy since he was the closest dentist to the nursing home. Upon entering the practice, I should have trusted my instincts. His staff was anything but welcoming. My father, whom was paralyzed and in a wheelchair could not transfer. They knew this ahead of time. They were not very nice about this. In addition, they not only charged him a fortune (no professional courtesy) for his partial, it NEVER fit. He eventually transferred nursing homes. The VA in Aspinwall helped him as much as they possibly could. Without making a completely new one, he continued to be in pain. The dentists at the VA were amazing and the care was totally free. Above all, they treated him with respect and dignity.
