They also have great pricing on new items like mattresses, linens and pillows to make these personal items affordable for families in need. Not sure if these are donated, or if St. Vincent's is able to purchase with funds earned at the store. Signage is awesome outside and inside! I usually drop off some gently used items for resale, and always find something I take home. The best part is the warm and fuzzy feeling from contributing to a worthwhile cause...recycling at its finest. Each employee, whether paid or volunteer always has a smile and willingness to help. Very unorganized and dirty. I went there once to buy a recliner and they are $75 each. I asked for a discount and the manager came over and said he'd sell it to me $74.99. I thought he was joking around, but he was not. And they probably had 30 recliners. I found that strange.

But at least they have dressing rooms, which 99% of thrift stores have closed their dressing rooms due to theft and people doing strange things in them. However, most of the clothes are outdated. The Salvation Army Store in St. Peters, MO was like walking into a nice department store - EVERYTHING was totally organized and clean. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend the St. Peters location. I think it is still there.
