I would say that this store is broken down into 2 main areas. The first is what you might expect from a typical thrift/community resale shop. It has clothes, shoes, picture frames, lamps, books, kitchen items, etc. I like that I can pick up smaller home items here that other big chain thrift stores might not have. For example, I was able to get things for my desk like a stapler, clips, folders, notebooks, and pens. I've also bought lamps here. I like that they test their electronics before they put them out for sale. The second area is their furniture warehouse. Now this place is HUGE in the best way! It is very organized. There are 2 floors full of furniture. A staff member will accompany you. Both guys who have helped me find furniture have been very knowledgeable about their inventory and can take you exactly where you need to go to find the type of furniture you need. We bought a beautiful solid wood dresser for $60. To get it home, the shop referred us to a non-affiliated delivery service that often helps their customers. Ask about Fred! He and his team did a great job getting our new dresser to our home.

Some items still have store tags attached. I have purchased four hand made baby quilts over the years. (donated by a church) I enjoy making donations and then finding something I can't live without! The people have been working there for years and are so very nice. Generally there is a "free" cart outside which may have toys, books or other interesting items. This is one of my favorite thrift stores. It is not fancy, but small and comfortable while looking to update items. This is the best place to buy table cloths, shower curtains and place mats.....check it out.

I live right around the corner in McKinley Heights and always drive/walk by this place, but it sometimes looks a little mayhem. What do I do when places look mayhem? I buy online. I started following them and one day while sitting on my plane wi-fi, I noticed the blurry shots of a gawgeous milk glass shelf, walnut sideboard and hutch. In my horrible connection, I typed "#sold". Then, I was asked if I wanted the matching piece for a little discount. There I went again - "#sold". They will send an invoice and you can pay online then pick it up on a Saturday or Sunday 12-5. Pick up can be a little hard to understand because you have to find The Unlabeled Guy (whoever that is) and find your piece. We were able to back the truck up the sidewalk to pick it up once I found The Guy and he confirmed my invoice. The inside is chaotic, with pieces of furniture everywhere. I think they list their nicest pieces online then keep them in the front room until pick up, so I'm guessing their nicer stuff is in the front. Basically everything they have is priced cheaper than any antique store or online seller, with the only exception being maybe an auction. I suggest following them on Instagram and checking it daily, with your #sold fingers ready to go. The good stuff goes quick. I bought another item just last night. IT'S SO EASY. TOO EASY. The peacock wall piece? Yeah, that was me.

The text came in at 10am and we were there before 10:30. This store has a lot of amazing items, a creepy doll/toy room. It's bright and cheery but if you put a group of old dolls in a room together, it's creepy. I like the way the owner put items together based on theme. (Like all the toys being together.) I bought something and saw a couple other items that I might be back for. Yup, I'll definitely be back. The prices are VERY reasonable and the owner and worker bee are very friendly. I definitely recommend this store. Looks like I might have a new favorite store on Hampton.

I visited this shop on a whim and purchased multiple small items totaling over $200. During my…read morevisit, the employee at the front counter appeared visibly agitated and huffy while I picked out / sorted through items I intended to purchase, which made the interaction unpleasant (to put it mildly). There were several moments where I wanted to just say never mind & leave, which in hindsight I should have. She hovered over me to the point that it felt like she was breathing down my neck. There were no other customers at the counter at the time and the shop was slow so the hostile attitude was completely uncalled for. I like to look at all of my options before making a purchase and some of the items were rings that needed to be tried on for fit. After leaving, I noticed that I'd been charged for an item that was not included in the bag. I returned the following day to resolve the issue with the manager. The interaction became unprofessional (again!) when the same employee made comments referencing my visit the day prior and described my transaction as a "disaster" to another employee in front of me. Given that I had made a substantial purchase, I was genuinely surprised by how openly rude she was. Overall, the selection here is decent and everyone else I interacted with was helpful. The front counter experience during and after my purchase was so disappointing & uncalled for. Having worked several customer service jobs myself, including busy and stressful ones, I wouldn't dream of treating anyone this way. I would have considered shopping here again but after this experience .. absolutely not.
