A solid go to Indian here in Plymouth.
Various family members with very differing tastes and standards go here and I can see why.
Friday night, dinner for four. Dopiaza, Jalfrazi, tikka masala and tikka balti.
Plus sides.
Every dish the chicken was cooked perfectly. The tikka dishes were definitely tikka and not passed off as tikka-wannabes. The sauces were clearly all specific and not generic sauces with random colourings and the odd spice here and there.
Mine was the balti and it was spot on!
Keena naan - sister said there wasn't that much meat in it, but was tasty.
Saag Aloo - was of a decent standard, potatoes cooked well, good level of spinach and not over done.
Rice - rice is rice. Nothing to write home about but perfectly fine.
So, yes, four fussy peeps all enjoyed, (as the other random family members have before) a decent curry on a Friday night.
Going to order here again 100%. read more
