I did see lots of empty storefronts as well, which seems to be a sign of the time for malls these days. The mall was very clean, very modern/up-to-date with the décor and a offered a comfortable, safe shopping experience. If you're in the area and need a mall to shop at, this would be the place and they would probably have what you're seeking.

Next to the newly enlarged Fashion Outlet Mall in Niagara Falls is this mall. It's more of a Plaza…read moreto me, all stores have outside entrances with parking in the middle. There's lots here - Walmart, SAMs, Bed Bath Beyond, and my fav, Qdoba. They have lots more too. It also keeps getting new stores. This place is great for things that are not in the outlet mall, but are still low cost things, no high end stores in this plaza. Tons of parking all around.

Decent members of society that want to enjoy a day shopping do not need to be harassed in this manner. I guess it's true that the crime rate at this outlet mall has risen drastically. This company is a big skam I went in to get feminine hygiene products and they charge me $14.99 but…read morewhen received them it said $6.99 on the box when I went back, they told me that the real price was $14.99 and they slapped a fake sticker on there. Do not go there and then they have the audacity to yell at me about wrong price. Also, during the same transaction I bought an ice cream which said $3.29 on the label they tried to charge me $5.99 for it. And argued with me when I told them it was the wrong price.

I didn't realize until I got to the drug store that this closest one to my hotel was a part of a shopping mall. I don't visit malls all that often these days because they are a death trap as far as time and spending go. I am a shopper at heart and can spent hours at one. It was exactly what I did last weekend. From the outside, you can certainly tell which part was the original mall and which wing is relatively new. I looked at the new wing and it looked like it was detached from the mall. Nope, you can walk every part of it indoors without freezing outside in the wintertime. The store has a good selection of stores. It has many of my favourites, such as Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Showcase, DAVIDs Tea, SoftMoc, Showcase, and Shoppers Drug Mart. There are plenty of places to sit down if you are too pooped to shop. The target shopper seems to be folks 60 years of age and higher, which could explain all the places for folks to sit down, chat with friends, and enjoy a beverage. Although I'm not in that demographic, it sounds pretty good to me! Signs are clearly displayed to help guide you around the mall. There is free wifi if you do need to connect online. There is a food court. I didn't eat there, but there are many options to choose from. And, yes, there's a Timmy's to get your double-double fix on. I had lunch at Sunset Grill on my final day in Hamilton. It was Family Day and this mall was closed. However, Sunset Grill has its own entrance at this mall, so I was happy to have lunch here. I used one of the women's washrooms at this mall last Saturday. It was clean and maintained frequently. It's a good mall if you want something smaller than Lime Ridge Mall, but has pretty much everything you need. I'd return to shop here again. (76)

It was fun to walk around here and go to the bigger stores at this mall, though! We came by to check out what this mall offered, and the big stores we liked going to were Chapters, Zehrs Market, and ... Wal-Mart. The other stores were just honestly too small and didn't have a lot for us to browse. Boring. We thought the Ikea was a regular Ikea, but it's more of a show room, so not much to see or buy here. Tip: Starbucks is located inside Chapters!

I even saw Hawaiian Host Strawberries and Creme White Chocolate covered mac nuts. I love seafood. They had cooked lobsters in packages of two for around $35 and huge packages of large head on shrimp for around $20. What a deal. If I was there longer I definitely would have bought those to eat. Sadly, we were leaving that day. Try out the food court is a must for me. They had all the standard: pizza, hot dogs and soft serve ice cream. They did have polish dogs. I wish they would bring that back at home. They also sell chicken strips and fries. I had to try out a Canadian specialty which is the poutine $6.99. It's french fries smothered in brown gravy and cheese curds. It was my first time trying it and I did not like it. The gravy was so salty and made the fries soggy. That said, the differences based on geographical locations keep things interesting. Although there were plenty of folks walking about, traffic was pretty tamed and so were the lines queuing up to checkout. Speaking with one of the bakery staff members, their recent seasonal item was the Peach Mango Coconut Loaf Cake, which sounded amazing, so I got two. Even the cashier lady was eyeing them and wondered if they were any good. I also purchased a package of Mrs. Dunster's Crescent Shaped Sugar Donuts. After taking these items back home, my family and coworkers had a chance to try the loaf cakes. In my opinion, these loaves were a tad sweeter than I'd like, but the others enjoyed it. The donuts on the other hand were delicate and balanced in its sweetness, so I kinda wished I bought more.
