Graham Dalseg at Grindstone Physio was great! If you have…read morecomplicated and/or longstanding mobility issues, he actually takes the time to go through the history of the problem(s). How you got to be there, what you've already tried, how well it worked. Then he does a few tests and explains what he thinks should come next, and goes through the exercises with you. He also doesn't expect you to come back every single week, which, in most cases would be a waste of both money and time. I'm very confident that I've found the place that can help me get back on my feet, and get back to the best I can be.

Had a terrible experience with Anton and Shara- the massage therapist. This was going to be my…read morefirst appointment with inyourhometherapy. I had booked a one hour massage. On the day of the appointment I was told that they charge for the time of the massage therapist and not the time that you spend on the table. While I understand that taking my health history is part of the one hour. But Anton kept insisting that finding a parking setting up the table will all be part of the one hour. I have a seven month old baby, so this was a very frustrating because I had planned my whole day around this. Anton kept arguing that in all clinics the one hour includes setting up the table and essentially the time of the therapist and not the time on the table. THIS WAS ALL AFTER SHARA CONFIRMED WITH ME THE PREVIOUS DAY THAT I WOULD BE GETTING A FULL HOUR ON THE TABLE AND SHE WOULD COME EARLY TO SET UP. Shara also was extremely rude in her conversation with me AND COMPLETELY FLIPPED ON ME THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT. Never have I been to a massage where I didn't spend the booked time on the table. I ended up canceling my appointment. Found Anton very argumentative. Extremely horrible customer service. If only owners these days cared about their customers.

Be diligent before booking services. Most of their health care practitioners have not had their…read morevaccinations and the owner doesn't feel he needs to indicate this on his website. I had some practioners come in to help my elderly parents with some movement issues and only found out afterwards, no vaccines. It isn't mandatory to be vaccinated, as it's personal choice - but caution you to ask this question before hand and before the practitioner comes to the house. Don't assume just because they work in healthcare, work with seniors and are in and out of people's homes all week that they are vaccinated or will be vaccinated. They are adhering to each of their college's protocols (masks, handwashing) but that may not be enough assurance for you in terms of transmission. Personally I think this should be made note on the website prior to the booking, so clients and potential clients are aware before hand, but the owner, Anton says as the business owner and by law he doesn't have to indicate this. Just a caution. Accupuncture practitioner also left two needles in my parent's head by accident, they found them when they went to brush their hair. According to Anton, that's no big deal, as you can leave needles in for up to a week without harm. They were left by accident, my parent found them with their hand and hairbrush. Not super safe. The treatments themselves are starting to provide some relief. Just be very diligent and advocate for proper and safe treatment and care. In my phone call with Anton I didn't the impression that a customer's wellbeing ,health and safety is his first priority as a business owner in the healthcare services industry.

Being that I'm from Alabama and not knowing the area they made me feel so welcomed. The receptionist always greeted me with a smile and every time I would called she answered like she was waiting on my call. A really nice women. As for my chiropractor (Dr. Alicia Castelhano) I could spend the next three days explain the lengths that she went through for me. She listened to each one of my issues and where i was thinking that the pain derived from. She made sure is was a comfortable and that it was as painless as possible. She even emailed me stretches that I could do on my own if my pain started acting up again. I've never met another chiropractor that went through what she did to help me with my pain. And that's here in Canada and back home in Alabama. She even asked for my chiropractors information so she could reach out to make sure that he stays on the same regiment as she began to try and correct my issues. To sum up..love them I wish I could take their entire office and place it in Alabama. Hopefully it won't be last time I see them. Best wishes, Bubba
