My car was taken to them by my insurance company to get an estimate. when it was done, FIX Auto…read morerefused to share the estimate with me as the car owner. When I checked with other collision repair centers they all said that it is the customer's/ car owner right to get a detailed estimate. I asked for the estimate and the person gave me some B.S. answer that my particular insurance company doesn't allow them to share estimates. However when I asked others they all said that was not the case with any insurance company including mine. Really Disappointed First and Last Time to deal with them.

My daughter had an accident today. Police put a call in for a tow truck and someone from this…read morelocation was dispatched. Even though we would have preferred it to be towed to a wrecking yard, the driver took it back to this location. He then handed my daughter who is a student, a bill for $632 to tow her vehicle approximately 10 km. When I called to ask what a total would be if I broke down on the highway, he told me for a flatbed it would be $100. When I asked him how he justified $632 for my daughters bill, he said that's what Niagara Region charges. The bill included towing, recovery, disposal and storage fees. Yup you heard right....storage fees. Recovery fee was picking up a couple of small pieces of metal....yup A COUPLE. Disposal was because he said fluids leaked on his flatbed. Storage was ??? He just towed the car back to his location? Let's face it, he put anything on the bill he could. After all that, he offered to buy her car for $500 and all she had to do was pay the difference. No wonder he didn't want to tow it to the wreckers. Anyone that would be this devious wouldn't be someone I would pick to fix my car.

I really like smaller places like this because you get the service that you should get at a big corporate auto repair shop -- like they don't just take your keys and you hope for the best. Even though they're totally out of my area I'll come back for anything else that I can't do myself in my driveway - it's just too darn cold right now!
