His assistant is really nice and does a great job at putting you at ease. I've had a very comfortable and pleasant experience there... More pleasant than you would expect from a visit to the dentist! I also really like that they're not pushy. They're honest when it comes to the kind of work you may need, but don't push to book a thousand visits in the next year that would end up costing you. I recommend this place without hesitation.

They take time to explain the procedures and results with you and are obviously very knowledgeable. I have almost always seen Dr. Bowker during my semi-yearly visits and she is excellent. Prior to her, I had some doozies of a dentist ( one who told me I had a rotten tooth and it needed pulling. I still have that tooth and it is in great shape ). Another dentist I had told me in 5 yrs I will need dentures ( I still have all my teeth ). So when I went to this office, I was apprehensive. Long story short... she saved the tooth. Since then she is the only dentist I would ever trust to work on my mouth. Her staff are amazing and take great care with their patients. Her practice has expanded quite a bit but the service is still the same. they tell you straight out and do not recommend any work that does not need to be done. If I could recommend a dentist, it is this practice. And that my friends is the tooth and nothing but the tooth !

Had three bad experiences…read more First. Had a regular check up and cleaning done, everything went well. After we were done I was put into a side room full of merchandise and was trying to be talked into buying a very expensive electric toothbrush. I kept saying I would think about it, after about 5-10 mins trying to push this product in me they finally stopped and took me to pay my bill. Second time I needed a retainer replaced for my front bottom teeth. Thought everything went well till a couple of hours later I started getting a very bad headache. Thought nothing of it. After a couple of day I went back to get the retainer readjusted. Took two separate visits till it was done right, instantly the headaches went away. About a month later the retainer broke off of my tooth and cut my tongue, so I took it out myself and threw it away. My third visit was for a cleaning and check up. All went well till the billing. They put I through and as I was about to leave I checked to see what they charged me for. Two procedures on the bill they didn't do, X-rays and fluoride. I brought this to their attention and I was told, "we'll get you next time". I believe that is insurance fraud, but what ever. Let's just say I found a new dentist in the area. Super happy now.

Before my appointment, I had discussed my concerns about the early stages of periodontal disease with the dentist and was feeling quite anxious about the cleaning. During the appointment, I felt that my concerns weren't acknowledged, and the cleaning itself was much rougher than I expected. There was a lot of scraping and pressure on my gums, and I left feeling sore and uncomfortable. By the time I got home, I was extremely nauseated and had been swallowing quite a bit of blood during the procedure, which made me vomit. When I brought up my concerns afterward, I felt as though they were dismissed and that I being gaslight to bbelieve that dental cleanings are supposed to be uncomfortable. I understand that some discomfort is normal, but in my experience this went far beyond ordinary discomfort. I left feeling that my concerns and the amount of pain I experienced were not taken seriously. I'm genuinely baffled that a new patient, could be treated with such a rough approach.

It's never fun getting a filling, so I'm not going to say I had a great time, but compared to the other 4 dentists I've seen in my life, it was much better. They had 2 pieces of equipment that I haven't seen before, both of which improved the experience. First, they had a device to replace those rubber dam things I've used before. This thing keeps your jaw open while it's relaxed, and suctions the debris or something. Also, he used this automatic needle thing for the freezing. It was like a needle on a hose, and it apparently makes the freezing process hurt less. It definitely seemed like it hurt less, and Dr Shah said he used less freezing than otherwise, so I recovered faster

They fail to realize their customers have lives and a business should withhold its commitment to provide a service at an agreed upon time. Im trying to go back to my previous dentist however when I asked your clinic to send my X-rays over, the front staff mentioned they were busy with back-to-school bookings and would try to get to it. However, they still haven't received them. To make matters worse, I overheard a conversation about a patient getting a root canal and the clinic having to send documents to a lawyer while I was waiting.

I get extreme anxiety when having any dental work done, but they helped me feel more at ease and comfortable. I didn't feel any of the freezing needles at all as the nurse numbed the area first which is smart , plus Dr. Mclean has a steady hand. Got in early on a Friday morning for an abscess that was bothering me. It had been years since I…read morehave seen a dentist. The building is clean, the receptionist was very kind. Dr Ahmed was very nice. He didn't make me feel guilty for not having been to a dentist in a while (as I've had a dentist do in the past). He was very gentle considering the force he had to use in the procedure. He made sure I was sufficiently frozen. This was 24 hours ago, I still have very little pain. His prices are also pretty decent. I will certainly be returning and bringing my family back.
