If you're looking for someone to help you get clarity, understand your key road blocks, and develop strategies to work through them, time with Asha will be a very worthy investment into your career.

Trust the process! Working with Asha has been a journey that I can highly recommend. I came to her…read morebecause I was experiencing stagnation in my career and almost no results from my job searches. For the last 8 years I was stuck in a career and industry that was not my passion, which did not offer any further advancement and the financial situation was far from satisfactory. I had almost lost my hope & confidence. Asha listened to my issues, learned about my unique situation and was able to develop a very clear strategy for me as early as our initial session. After our decision to work together, she helped me overcome many hurdles and confront issues that were holding me back for many years: financial, emotional, my mindset, beliefs, and self-imposed limitations. She tailored exercises, assignments, and meetings that helped me realize my potential. She helped me apply my skills, talents and dedicate my energy to what I needed to do, to finally generate results I wanted. Asha noticed in me skills and talents that I've never knew I had. It helped me broaden my horizons and it allowed me to be open to more successful job opportunities I've had not considered before. I've completely changed the ways I've been doing things. I was able to successfully update my resume, cover letters, online presence, and most importantly my attitudes and confidence. I finally got multiple job offers, in my ideal industry, for much better income and with better growth opportunities. Now I really enjoy being interviewed, and I receive great interest and feedback from potential employers. I am being selected to move forward with the hiring process over other candidates.

*fyi* this review was written in the summer of 2019. They no longer offer free typing certificates…read morehere due to their contract not being renewed. Can you say, "budget cuts"? I came here to get an official typing certificate. This location is easy to get to, and they have their own parking lot which is shared with Concord College and 24 hr Fitness. It was crowded at 11am on a Thursday, but I didn't have too much trouble finding parking. Upon walking in there is a reception desk to the left, and a spacious hall to the right, with computer stations that I am assuming are used for job searches and applications, as no one was using them at the time. I was greeted by a very hospitable woman with lovely green shaded dreads, and she directed me where to go. Ms. Barbara and Ms.Christine were a hoot. They made me feel like I was home visiting my mom and auntie I swear they are the best. I didn't get my WPM up to my usual standard, but I walked away with a certificate nonetheless, with some encouragement and cheering from my newly found family members I didn't know I had. I will be back to up my WPM certification soon.

I agree with other posters who call this a scam. I went there because I was eligible for training…read more They told me it could take up to a month to speak with a counselor. In the meantime, they got all my personal information, then ignored my calls and email messages for weeks. I started the process three months before the semester began, and my appointment with the counselor ended up taking place about two weeks after the semester started. I think they do this intentionally, just to make sure you don't get the course. Who knows what they actually do with the money. All I got from them was a lot of candy-coated smoke and broken promises. What a giant waste of my time and energy, not to mention that I won't get the training I was hoping for to get a job. I can't wait another six months for the new semester. What a shame when so many people are in need of finances for health insurance, groceries, gas...that our government funds "organizations" like this.

Tina has been an inspiration for me…read more I met Tina in the fall of 2018 when I enrolled in a customer experience course at San Diego State University. Prior to the course, I wanted to begin my own marketing company. After sharing my dream with some hesitation, Tina gave me that burst of confidence to pursue my goal. She took the time to listen to my vision and gave me the tools I needed to make a successful plan. With Tina's guidance, I finished the course with a customer-focused website for my business. After the course was over, I felt a bit overwhelmed in where or how to start my business, so I reached out to Tina and asked if we could help. Tina helped ease my nerves by giving me a sense of direction. I would recommend her to anyone, not only as an instructor but genuinely caring, expert consultant.

As a female business owner running a publication, the developer repeatedly minimized serious functional issues by labeling them as merely "cosmetic." In reality, these were not cosmetic issues at all--they impacted presentation, credibility, and the integrity of a live publication platform. For a business website, particularly a magazine platform, those details matter. Unfortunately, this interaction revealed a deeper issue: a lack of respect for the client's standards and vision. The implication that these concerns were simply "cosmetic" reflects a misunderstanding of professional publishing and the expectations of a serious business owner. Ironically, this experience will likely become material for a future editorial discussion in my magazine's upcoming issue, as it highlights a broader and very real conversation about professionalism, accountability, and how female-led businesses are sometimes dismissed in technical industries.
