    Entry way at Garfield.

I was attending a program in connections with NextStep. Another house manager and some women I lived with went to this same program. Upon leaving to a detox, my things were left behind. When I returned to claim my things, nearly all my prized possessions were missing. Bags, pants, shirts, furniture even! The most expensive items were gifts. All missing. I come to find out people had been discussing how blatantly they stole my items. The house manager condoned this behavior and have continued to ignore my messages about obtaining the rest of my items. Beyond that my stay was tragic. Having had several conversations with both house managers about how I feel I'm walking on egg shells around them, only to be told that's just her personality, several people say the same thing and I'm simply too sensitive. Overall my needs weren't met, the care wasn't there, there was no care when it came to the clients. Which I understand, they work, they're not our friends. However, it was very, very clear we weren't friends. That is, aside from her one friend that was a client at the same time as me who was then hired on to the same house as her. These two have ended up condoning such tragic behavior from all the clients. All the women in the house using and remaining. It was a poor experience all around. Not a healthy sober environment for anyone.

Every time I…read moremeet him to go through the medication plan, he always takes time to ask about my parents and life. He's a really good guy and I'm glad this place has treated him well. I met with Alison once when Brandon was out and she was excellent. Their Regions pharmacy is always stocked with my prescription needs and offer delivery which is unheard of. Got nothing but great things to say about this place and would recommend anybody seeking specialized care in this field to go. Unfortunately, I don't think Dr. Stutz has any more slots to take on more patients (reflection of how great he is) but I'm confident the other practitioners there will work all day to address what keeps you up at night.

Not only did the office staff say they never heard of that program, they didn't seem to be curious to learn about it or care that I might not get my medication. My request to speak with the office manager was ignored as were messages left on her answering machine. At this point I will be contacting the Insurance commissioner to help me get through to them and get my medication.
