This is a family business and I feel honored to have at minimum meet Brian and his wife plus a few of their children but they have such a great story that you can get an idea of on their website and I hope others get to meet them as well. So for my project, the positive experience started from my first interaction with Epperson Electric when I went on Yelp (I also checked out their website) and asked for a quote, the response was very quick and we meet Brian, the owner, within a couple days where he walked me through the estimation, how the project would unfold and asked what I wanted plus gave me options to several things, it was very interactive experience. The estimate was very reasonable for the size of the project and I could tell that this was not "just another project" to Brian, but that he is passionate about quality of his work and this is very aligned to my own ideas and expectations. The work that Brian did was exceptional, because he didn't just wire my shop and dig a trench and lay the pipe for the hookup to the transformer, but he paid attention to the little details that you only really notice if quality of work is important to you like, straight wire runs even when no one else will see them, all the new boxes were perfectly level, the existing light fixtures being reworked and the wires were nicely zip tied and look clean, the 240' trench was perfect even though our water company's spray marks for their lines were 9' off where they marked and caused issues but everything went as planned with high quality craftmanship. I don't know if I have effectively communicated in words to everyone just how impressed I am with Epperson Electric, Brian, and his quality of work and knowledge but I will say that I will never use anyone else for any of my electrical projects in the future.

We cannot recommend this company based on our experience…read more Since July 2021, we have spent $13,386.08 with this company, including $4,640.90 in October 2024. During that time, we have had issues almost every year, despite having both a brand-new indoor and outdoor HVAC unit installed. When I asked where the air filter went on the new unit, the technician couldn't tell me and said I would have to contact the manufacturer. We were also never provided with the warranty information for the new equipment. We were told it would be emailed to us, but we never received it. The most disappointing experience happened yesterday. My grandmother is on hospice and is dying. She can barely get around, and on one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures around 92°F, her air conditioner stopped working. I called at 9:00 a.m. and was told they couldn't come until the next day unless we paid a $295 emergency service fee. After spending over $13,000 with this company and needing service calls year after year, I expected better treatment, especially under these circumstances. In the past, I left positive reviews because my grandmother was repeatedly encouraged and pretty much hassled to do so. She always wanted to support local businesses, even when she wasn't satisfied. Looking back, I feel it was important to share our honest experience. If customers stay silent, other families--especially elderly customers--may end up going through the same thing. As of this review, my grandmother's air conditioner is still not working, and we will not be spending another penny with this company.
