Our first-floor bathroom sounded like it had a severe water leak--but we couldn't find where the…read moreleak was coming from or going to! We called Mr. McFadden, and he and his assistant, Jordan, soon arrived, the first time we'd used this service. After their careful investigation, the problem was diagnosd as a leak in the copper pipe feeding the bathroom's sink: that leak was dripping inside the wall and flowing down into the ground below. Working smoothly together, the two men stopped the leak and put a new pipe into place. They carefully cleaned up their work, including beneath the cabinet under the sink. We were very impressed and satisfied with the skill and professionalism we witnessed. McFadden Plumbing is now our go-to plumber!

I needed to have my garbage disposal replaced and have a replacement spout installed on my tub…read more Sean replaced the garbage disposal in no time. The tub spout was a little more difficult. The spout would not come off. So Sean gave me a couple of options. I chose the option to have him cut the end of the spout off to see if that would enable him to remove it. He was able to do that without damaging the copper pipe and was able to get the spout removed. I'm so glad I called them because I was considering changing the spout myself. That would have been a disaster because I'm certain I would have used a pipe wrench to remove that spout and I would have surely broken the copper pipe. This is why you call a professional because they can save you from yourself. The price was reasonable but the lesson was invaluable.

They told me they…read moreoffer a free diagnostic evaluation, so I asked them to come look at our pipes that were allowing debris to back into the tub. The next thing I know, the employee was calling me to tell me he got his camera/hose stuck in the pipe and the only way to get it out would be to dig up the entire plumbing system and replace it... costing $2500 (He actually gave me over 4 different prices, going back and forth on what all was included for each price, but none of them actually adding up. It's like he was just throwing random numbers out and they dont have actual fees set for what they offer). I called the office, requesting to speak with the manager or owner to make sure they knew I didn't want the plumbing system left in worse shape than it was when they got there (long story short, IT WAS) and that we were not interested in a $2500 repair right now. The receptionist said that she would give him my number and he would call me.. he never did. My husband and I talked about it and decided to go ahead and have the repair done, so I called and asked for a written quote... I never got it. I called back, requesting one again, and still never got one. I called back a third time and was told "I meant to call you but got sidetracked. I we are no longer able to do your repair." So to summarize, they came out to look at and tell me what was wrong with a pipe, got a piece of equipment stuck in it, rendering it non-functional, and then said that they can't fix a problem they created?
