Will never return. You get what you pay for. Choppy, comically uneven haircut. Students apply the color and shout out to Vince for instructions on what to do. Not reassuring or relaxing in the least. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Had to book an appointment at a real salon to remedy the awful cut. Additionally, no knowledge of how to maintain healthy hair. Brushed it harshly while wet (snaps the hair), rubbed the color and shampoo aggressively against the cuticle (opposite of smoothing=frizz inducing), washed hair at least 4 times to get the color out (drying/stripping). Do yourself and your hair a favor and skip this place. read more

Surprisingly spacious... I think more than any salon I've been to. Except for maybe Sport Cuts, but it does kind of look like that. The staff seems really efficient also. I stumbled on the place on a Sunday and luckily they were able to squeeze me in. Usually I schedule ahead. read more

Let me start by saying . Vince , is amazing. One of the best stylists in the city. I have been going there for awhile. It sadness me to say . That I will not be returning. I usually go once a week to side's trimmed. Vince, told me that it only takes 5 min. So today I called . Spoke to Cindy the receptionist. She told me to come in at 5:15pm. I took a 20 min walk in the heat today. To show up and for her to tell me . He wasn't available. If she had no idea. If he would be available or not . She should have asked him. My daughter just got a beautiful haircut here. This is a COVIDTIMES review so I will remark that they were very cautious and both clients and stylists were masked and they had plexiglass partitions between all of the stations. I've lived in the neighborhood for a long time and come here a few times. Even in normal circumstances, Next Salon Plus gives great service for hair and nails, and I would highly recommend. Not respectful of appointment times. Waited around for 20 minutes with no updates and eventually had to get on with my day. Had gotten a couple of cuts previously which were, well, okay. I can only provide my opinion of the pedicures here. They always have an abundance of polishes to choose from. I get them done by May (or Mai, not sure of spelling). I only go during the summer and then it's only about once a month, if that. She is always very friendly and does an excellent job with my nails- very thorough and precise, she makes sure to clean up any mistakes if they happen to arise. We never really have a lot of conversation considering I don't think we understand each other, but this makes it more relaxing for me since we don't have to chit-chat. I received a call the night before my appt saying that May no longer worked here considering she did an amazing job with my hair. However I decided to just keep the appt because my schedule was tight and I needed to get my hair cut and colored. I wanted a lighter blonde balayage and ended up leaving with my some hair blue/grey. Like wtf. He told me it's gonna wash out and the blonde is going to come out. That my hair is going to be ash blonde. I honestly thought that my hair looked so dull. There was no brightness to it. I'm gonna wait awhile to reassess my hair to see how it lightens up. But I'm pretty upset on how it turned out. Initially I thought it looked alright but it honestly wasn't what I wanted. We'll see how my hair is after a few washes but I'm pretty upset. You could also still see my previous orange brass when I assessed my hair. Def not worth the $115. But it is what it is. After months of jumping from salon to salon with various Groupons/Living Social deals, I finally found a great place where the normal prices are cheaper than the deals, and no quality is sacrificed. My sister had her hair and nails done by Mei a few times and raved about it everyone time. I noticed a ton of reviews about Vince, but I'm happy to report that I have the same experience with Mei. She can wash, chop, dry and style your hair in about 20 mins, and you will love it! I've also great experiences with her highlighting my hair, and the inexpensive price is just an added bonus. Stopped in for a haircut and my eyebrows waxed. The eyebrows were a FANTASTIC job and I will absolutely be going back. I have very sensitive skin so many places make my skin freak out, but not this place! As for my haircut I was a little disappointed. The style ended up looking nice, but I asked for a trim with layers because I like to donate my hair every year...she gave me great layers but cut off a huge portion of my hair so now I have to wait even longer before I can donate it. That's a little frustrating. Haven't gotten my nails done there yet, but next time I get my eyebrows done, I might give them a try. read more

Thought this was a newer business, but I guess they just moved. I was a new client, walked in the door and was in a chair within 5 minutes. I watched how they greeted everyone who walked in by name, already knew why they were there, and had them seated even quicker. This salon knows what it is doing. I've always gotten treatments that take a bit of time. I was out with a haircut and blow dry on top of the bleaching quicker than any other salon I have visited. And I am overwhelmed with how amazing my hair looks. It is exactly what I wanted. They took what I said, told me what should be done to make it better, and did it.
