Next visit to Norwich ;) There is a large selection of UK and foreign goods in the food department, along with a counter full of delicacies to temp you. I stopped by a gin tasting booth and it was interesting to try the different flavoured gins being sold. I wish I had more time to browse, especially in the arts department. Not quite up there with John Lewis or a House of Fraser, and constantly having to deal with BHS snapping at its heels. But, it does have a reasonable menswear department in the basement that's always worth a look, especially when they're running one of their blue cross sales and the prices drop by 70%. They also employ many members of staff which are always around the store available to help you whenever it's needed. The clothes department do stock alot of designer items and I've found these to be quite pricey although there are some good bargains to be had at one of their many sales throughout the year. Very good service, which is what you are paying for. The restaurant, cleverly called "The Place To Eat" also has higher end choices and it's similarly delicious. The staff know their products well and are always happy to give you demonstrations and test the products on you. I was disappointed with the Dior counter they have a good range, but I did feel as if I was inconveniencing the sales women by coming to her counter. It wasn't a great moment for customer service. They have a very well laid out store and employ a few staff that on each floor that are always friendly, polite and willing to give you assistance if you need it.

Plenty of parking is available, which can be a little expensive depending. 6 hours was £10 today, though they do have special nights where parking is free after 5pm. Modern, clean, bright and airy. Day of the dead Maybe its something to do with being under the castle, occupying the space where the dungeons usually are Or maybe it's just because all the decent shops upped and left to the swanky new place down the road. Whatever the case, Castle Mall will has an important place in the history of retail in Norwich. Main because it houses the city's main Post Office.

The shop itself caters to a variety of needs, and you can find all sorts of things in here, including clothes, electronic goods, light bulbs, sweets, toys, candles and decorative items and other homeware products. They also sell drinks and crisps at a reduced price. There are lots of members of staff around to help, although the ones I've spoken to haven't been particularly friendly. The queues are also sometimes quite long.

This site has two levels with the option to take an escalator down to an area for picture frames, mirrors, kictchen and lighting. Upstairs you have an array of season items which can range from Xmas left over bargains to summer equipment. Passed this area you then have the clothes. There are some good deals and often interesting designs that are good quality. There are changing rooms where you can see if the item fits but you need to ask to be let in. They then have a DIY section which is well stocked though sometimes Poundland just across the way may stick it for a cheaper price. They have some snacky foods such as flapjacks by the checkouts which are pretty yum.
