Best child care facility that you will find in the Tempe area. They are now located near the intersection of Baseline & Rural. Most of the children attending the center are children of Tempe school teachers and ASU faculty and staff. The center hours are 7:30-5:30pm. Very low class ratios, high teacher retention (low staff turn-over), dedicated and caring staff, and teachers progress with the students for continuity and relationship development. The center has two co-directors who are also teachers at the center. Your tuition dollars go directly back to the center - not to administrative costs. If you are looking for a center with a fancy admin and fancy director sitting behind a desk - this is not your place. If you are looking for a center focused on student development, teacher-student relationships, and play-based learning, this is it. Most of the teachers have degrees in family/human/child development or are in progress with obtaining the degree. The pre-K teacher is a master's level certified elementary school teacher. My twins both left kindergarten ready with both their kindergarten and first grade teachers raving about their preparation for learning. While they did have transitional issues with talking while in kindergarten, that is to be expected and we appreciate that the pre-K experience was focused on play and choice. My youngest is still at the center. We have referred others to the center who are amazed and love it. I have never known a parent who had any complaints or concerns with the center. This is hands-down one of the BEST you will find. read more
