Specialties
I specialize in treating traumas- big and small, quickly, and effectively. I provide therapy to stop memories from replaying in your mind and body. Using very productive techniques, EMDR and A.R.T. (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), I help you prevent you feeling like you're reliving or reacting to something from the past. We release emotions 'stuck' from events, allowing you to live life responding to simply what's in front of you rather than being controlled by 'old stuff'.
If your life continues to be affected by things from your past then I would love to help you find relief.

History
Established in 2017.
I started my therapist career treating a wide variety of issues and quickly realized how much traumas, and even small events, from the past impact the way we think and the physical reactions we have to things today.
I noticed that despite all of my training, 'talk therapy' (the typical talking back-and-forth style many people imagine) didn't seem to provide the quick and permanent results we all want. People seemed to feel better at the end of a session, but then return to the pain the next time a triggering experience happened, this didn't feel right to me. I searched and found a solution to this.
I became trained + certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and then in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Both of these methods use the brain to essentially rewire memories so they don't hurt anymore. They are so powerful, permanent, and you don't even have to share aloud the details with me (if you don't want to) and it'll still work.
I love what do.

-Meeting Virtually Throughout All of Arizona-
When I was nine years old I made a list of what I wanted to be when I grew up and it read:
Psychologist
Physical Therapist
Flower Deliverer
(this is a 100% true story and I will gladly post a photo of it when I find it one day!)
I remember knowing that I wanted to make peoples lives better. I feel like becoming a therapist was part of me since I was little and it was bound to happen. Becoming a physical therapist may not have been that far off base as I am intrigued by and continue to learn more about how we store trauma in our bodies and incorporate that into sessions. As for a flower deliverer, perhaps that will come into play in the future, I mean, who can resist the opportunity to bring joy to people all day long?
I am originally from Maryland and made my way out to Arizona to escape the cold and soak up the heat (believe it or not). I’m a rare breed who doesn’t really mind the heat and will take it over the cold any day.
