    Ok, so it's rare that I would take the time to even rate a DMV/tag office location, but man! I was…read moreso impressed by my experience that I needed to show them some love. The service here is top notch and very friendly. Even the security officers at the front of the building are super helpful. My husband and I had to come and get an extension on our car registration. It was around 9:30am on a Thursday and thankfully, there was no wait. As soon as we went to the window, the employee greeted us with a sweet, pleasant smile. After she understood the reason for our visit, she quickly took care of our request with no hesitation. So pleasant! Got in and out in less than 10 mins! I will definitely come back to this location for all my car related needs moving forward.

    Unbelievable, a one-time tax that is imposed on the fair market value of the vehicle called the…read moretitle Ad Valorem Tax fee ("TAVT"). Have to pay this on cars bought and leased in another state when moving to Georgia. Who has over $1,500 just laying around (that must be paid within 30 days of moving to the state (or you pay a huge penalty)???? And on a lease? We don't even own that car. Still have to pay Ad Valorem Tax. Wow. You cannot even claim on taxes either. Several websites claim new Georgia residents can pay 50% in first 30 days, and remainder within 12 months. I guess that is false. Because the awful woman that helped us at this DMV has an attitude and treated us like garbage for questioning that 50/50. Also, never met a more rude and condescending clerk than Iman Bass.
