The inside was super clean and the setup is straightforward so it's not hard to navigate. The young lady at the counter was super friendly and able to answer the few confirmation questions we had. After getting our number and taking a seat, I was able to observe the process. The clerks were spot on with their efficiency as well as you could tell that the structure that was implemented was done with the customer in mind. Once at the window, the questions were asked, paperwork was provided, and we were on our way. I'm talking swift processing time, good service, and a customer focused experience as a whole. If you have to go in to handle what you need, I would def suggest this location.

That said, I needed to go to apply to get my property tax reduced. It's set up like the DMV: you take a number from a machine and they call you to one of the windows. In 10 minutes they called my number. The woman who waited on me was serious, thorough and efficient. She needed my wife's and my identification, car registration, and social security numbers. She could not have been more helpful. I was done maybe 25 minutes from walking in the door. And I got an exemption on the assessment of my house. That means I pay less!

As a mother with a strong bond with her son, the conversation I had with my son regarding his…read moredesire to enlist the military took me aback. With an Engineering background, I never saw this coming. Because of previous experience with a different recruiter, I was uneasy entrusting my son's life and future with any branch of the military. I called the branch to confirm the protocol for follow up with recruits and their parents in which I had the pleasure of having SS Griffith answer the phone. This and every interaction with SS Griffith were informative and professional. If SS Griffith was not able to answer my call, he always sent a reply letting me know of his availability, or he would ask me to send my question via text and he ALWAYS responded. My son's departure date was July 14 and thanks to SS Griffith I was able to relax knowing my son was prepared. The only uneasy experience I had was the DEP, which had nothing to do with SS Griffith as he kept us informed with the progress. I just wish the wait was not as long. Thanks SS Griffith, I appreciated all you did to make this experience for our son, brother, nephew and friend an easy and memorable one.

The time of day will dictate whether you have a long wait or not. I appreciate that they have a self-service machine in the lobby for you to mail your own packages, which is very helpful when there is a long line. Lately, they no longer display which stamps they have in stock in the display cases. When there is a long line, I like to browse the stamps in the case to help pass the time. It also helps me decide which ones I want to purchase...but now you just have to ask the teller what's in stock and go back and forth with them while they check.

You just know you're always going to be missing something (and I was, despite my best efforts!), plus you expect to wait forever. The wait was less than 5 mins despite there being several people there! They were getting people through so efficiently while also being warm and friendly and polite, particularly with the older customers which was heartening to see and overhear. The lady helping me allowed me to make a call and have the missing paperwork emailed over, saving me another trip. I would have never expected that level of accommodation in a government office and the kindness genuinely saved me so much stress. These women (and the officer running security, he was lovely as well!) are literally rewriting the reputation of "the dmv" one resident at a time and they deserve all their flowers!!!
