We were surprised when we arrived to find no Chinese patrons and pizza on the menu and expected the worst. Why bother giving it a purely Chinese name if you serve pizzas and curry as well? Well the chefs are Chinese and that is something. Anyway the food isn't too bad as Chinese food in an Australian restaurant go. They were edible and the servings were generous. Anyway the owners moved from India and lived in Sweden for a while and now Melbourne is blessed.....so what's my point? Great Eastern Hakka is Chinese Indian food - its neither Chinese nor Indian....its something else!!! I am a great fan - love this place.
