Please tell me how you may not fall in love with a place that serves 50 different paninis (fish,…read moreveggies, cheeze, prosciutto, pate - you name it!), that is full of people who speak at least 5 different languages, that has an amazing local feel, serves pretty much any beverage that you have in mind - and all that for less than 15Eur? The pace is rather slow here, prepare to wait, but it is a perfect spot for waiting and enjoying the crowd anyway. Warning: there is no picture taking inside :) and don't go if you are claustrophobic - the place is indeed tiny!

The restaurant itself is pretty clean, and on the wall you can see autographs of celebrities -- even a famous soccer player (I think the Brazilian star Ronaldo?). You can definitely tell this place is well-known. That said, I do find it a bit pricey. One panini costs about 15 euros, and we asked the chef to cut it in half so the two of us could share. The ingredients definitely seem high quality, but as tourists, our palates might not be refined enough to appreciate all the subtle flavors. To me, it just tasted a bit salty, probably because of the ham (I think it was prosciutto crudo?). Overall, I'd say it's worth a try if you're curious or want to experience a place with a bit of fame, but just know that it's on the pricey side.

The wine selection was detailed. They had crazy levels of details about the wine and mentioned specific individual serving temperatures and the like.

I was not ready since it was a menu you had to scan and view in your phone. I ordered water and it came within a few minutes but then he never came back to take my food order. I had to stop him and call him over when he was at another table. I ordered the "city" which was a hero sized bread with a slice of chicken breast, bacon and a piece of lettuce. It didn't taste bad but the bread was so toasted that I could barely bite into it. I left about 75% of the sandwich because I only at the middle which was less toasted. He never came back to check up on me and I ended up going to the counter inside to pay. Maybe this is how it's done in Italy but it was very odd. It wasn't even busy which made it very frustrating. I could understand if it was packed and a lot of tables had to be served but it wasn't at all! Definitely would not come back and would not recommend.
