We have brought our Kia Sedona here twice in the last year for work still covered under on our soon…read moreto be expired warranty. Both times have been a great experience. The first time was for a noise coming from under the hood that ended up being a loose bracket for the a/c. They fixed it and they even replaced our wheel covers of which are covered under the warranty. We didn't know this but the friendly staff told us they were and replaced them. Also, the back seatbelt that my kids use was locked up and they had to replace some sort of gear or something of which they did the same day as well. Pretty cool. Today, my wife took it there because our windshiled wiper motor went bad and something's going on with the powersteering. They replaced the wiper motor and told her that they had to order the parts for the rack and pinion which is making the noise we hear. They were nice enough to tell her that when the parts are shipped in, she would need to drop the car off and come back to pick it up as the work will take several hours. Fifth star evades this review as both times we had an appointment for the work but ended waiting approx 2-3 hours anyway. I know a wait is expected but why make an appointment? Anyway, other than the wait issues, we have found something great in this dealership.

I normally don't write long reviews, but my experience with Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman was so…read moredisappointing and stressful that I feel compelled to warn others. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into a two-week nightmare -- one week just trying to complete the deal, and another week waiting for the dealership to finally release my approved, paid-for vehicle. During that delay, I was told I'd still have to pay for the days I didn't even have the car in my possession. My experience with sales associate Christopher Kenney, finance manager Heather Marino, and general manager Melanie Yesovich was marked by misinformation, unresponsiveness, and defensiveness. I was repeatedly pushed aside, ignored, and treated as though my time and business didn't matter. Even after paying my down payment and signing the paperwork, they refused to release the car, citing "funds clearing" from the leasing company -- which makes no sense for a lease. When I raised the issue, I was offered only $40 compensation and told to sign a release form that would have silenced me from ever sharing this experience publicly. I refused. The only person who showed any professionalism was sales manager Mark Dickerhoof, who listened, treated me with respect, and ultimately honored the national offer I was initially denied. Unfortunately, every other part of this dealership failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer care. As a former licensed car salesman at Klaben Ford and Lincoln and a recipient of the Key to the City of Youngstown, I know how customers deserve to be treated -- and this dealership fell far below that standard. If you value honesty, professionalism, and respect, steer clear of Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured. They took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Buying a car from a dealership can be stressful and there were no games or gimmicks involved here! Thank you again Joe S!

I purchased a Subaru in 2018, with a full warranty that included oil changes from a dealer that I…read moremoved away from. It was too great a distance to travel for oil changes. I had visited other locations as well and never paid a dime for an oil change. Today, my Forrester was taken in for an oil change by my partner, and they said that they could not use my warranty because it "didn't include oil changes". I provided my warranty information (even though it's associated with my account and has always been) and they were prepared to process the oil change and charge me money, something that I am not required to pay under my warranty. I guess someone didn't want to do their due diligence and follow up with the other retailer or just didn't know how to do their job. Guess that's the unfortunate state of the workforce these days. It's unfortunate that this is the closest retailer to me, I'll now have to travel twice as far to the original retailer to get the service in the warranty I've purchased. Avoid.

I am still in shock! A couple weeks ago I purchased about…read more$350 in parts from our local Boardman Ohio AUTO ZONE store when our '07 Ford Edge had an engine error code that indicated that the #1 cylinders ignition coil has failed. I purchased all 6 new coils and plugs, as recommended by the sales rep, but once installed I noticed the car was still having the same issue as before. After some research on the internet, I found that our year Ford Edge is notorious for having the coils failing which in turn, also, fry's the PCM. I went back to Auto Zone for a re-built PCM at that point, but they were unable to contact their vendor that re-builds the Ford brain's, and had to steer me elsewhere. Here is where the problem comes in, the companies that do re-build PCM's on our year Ford, will only give a warranty on them if you purchase the coils and plugs from them as well. This left me with the $350 in "Electronic" parts that I could not use. I told my wife, we can try to return them, but usually part store will not refund money on electrical part. Now, here is why I am still in SHOCK... When I went in to Auto Zone and explained the situation to the sales clerk and then asked if I could return the coils and plugs...he did! ...he refunded my credit card with no questions asked. That was AWESOME customer service! I was fully expecting to have to eat the $350, and vowel to never shop there again, but because they were so understanding and helpful, I actually found a new lifetime parts supplier! All 3 of our vehicles have over 100k miles, so even though this transaction may not be ideal for them today....I'll be back for sure! My thanks go to Auto Zone for doing the right thing in this situation. During the course of this not-so-pleasant Ford adventure, I dealt with 5 different Auto Zone sales guys including a manager. Each was very knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a great group of guy's there at your Boardman Ohio store.
