I was looking for an agent that I could trust, that knew the market as I was from out of the area, that would protect me from any issues after the sale, and negotiate strongly on my behalf. A top agent like Linda really makes a difference in a challenging market or when dealing with difficult buyers or issues that come up in the transaction. I experienced all of the above and I do not believe any other agent could have successfully closed the transaction in the timeframe and at the price we did.. Even though I own a separate real estate company for over 20 years, I still chose Linda over my own agents so that tells you something. Any agent can list your property, do an open house, and pick up the phone. However, real estate transactions are complicated and there are many documents, disclosures, and forms and more are added every year. If you're not careful or if you use an agent that does not understand disclosures and liability and other pitfalls, you can expose yourself to problems after the close. Linda's negotiation skills are first-rate and she consistently found ways to get me the best price possible while making sure I was protected. She also went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of from arranging inspections to researching potential issues with a property to providing good and bad news in an honest manner with strategy on how to tackle each issue. There are many "good" agents out there, but you won't be able to tell if they are truly one of the best(or worst) until you're already in the process and by then it's too late. You're in good hands with Linda, regardless if you're a first time buyer/seller or very experienced, she explains everything and is available to represent your interests.

When I asked her to look something up for me regarding a previous sale she made it seem like she had to go out of her way to do it for me. From the get go she gave me attitude. She asked if I had anything to do with the sale so I said that my name was also on the deed. She says to me in a rude tone as if to someone stupid, "Well then that would mean you were involved with the sale." Wow. Thanks, Captain Obvious! All I wanted was the money back that I paid towards EG Utilities (whom I called first and said they refunded the check to Cornerstone Title). When I tried to explain that I had already called EG Utilities she said that I need to talk to them instead. I told her that they had already sent my money to Cornerstone, wouldn't that mean someone at Cornerstone should be able to look up what happened to my money? So she says to me, "Do you have any idea how many transactions we have per day?" Then I tried saying that if EG Utilities sent them the money, they should be able to look it up right? She kept talking over me. I have worked in positions requiring customer service and I believe talking over what the customer is saying is well, frowned upon. Then in the middle of me saying that if there was a monetary transaction, they should be able to look it up and she HANGS UP ON ME. How people like her find work boggles my mind. If this is what Cornerstone is ok having as the face of their company... well, you be the judge.

Mind you that YOU are depending on them to move money around. NOW, I'm redoing the title on my home and have to do two titles because the county told us that Cornerstone recorded the title wrong. So we have to redo their job again and then change the title!!!! WARNING!!! I do not recommend this company at all.

I just purchased a home from Vitalii Velyk and unfortunately the experience was nothing like I see…read morehere on this site... I contacted him on a home I liked in Granite bay to hopefully reduce the commision to the sellers and give me a little bargaining power. Come to find out the reduction was minimal to the sellers. I purchased the home at full price minus some of the termite damages the home had. Vitali was very slow at returning calls or text and not very accommodating at all. I allowed the sellers to stay in the home for a week after it closed on my dime along with utilities, etc. The sellers did not close on time and took an additional day on my dime also. The home closed and Vitali told me he would get me the keys in which he didn't! I had the threaten him to get my keys 5 days later. The free stay was up and the sellers still refused to leave, I had a 3500.00 deposit on the home. After another week of me being there and babysitting them as their new home was getting sanitized and new carpet, etc. Vitali told me there was nothing he could do as he was the buying and selling agent on my house and the buyers agent on the sellers new home... The sellers finally left my home leaving a total mess and tons of garbage everywhere. They lied about plumbing problems and rodent problems on the declarations they signed. Vitali was no help in anything and left me out to dry!! He is all about the money with no customer service at all...... Buyers and sellers beware of this man!!! To top it off, his broker called me the other day after everything that went on but not with an apology of everything that happened to me but to ask for the seller's deposit back!! I said are you serious??!! Guess where this leaves us all at???
