London Relocation had very positive reviews all-around and we have a very good first impression. The team was there to help from the initial intake until well-after we moved into our home. The company has a defined process with in-depth housing requirements to ensure they find the right homes, neighborhood and school district that would suit us the best. They searched and brought back a large (25-35) list of properties meant to give them better insight on our preferences. With all of this being done virtually, they took great care in returning a final list of properties, each one they toured before presenting to us. We short-listed about 5-7 homes and Shanti conducted detailed video tours of each place. They weren't pushy and didn't rush us to decide. On a few occasions, they slowed-us down to ensure we chose the right place. They went back to specific properties to conduct follow-up virtual tours. They made it very easy and helped with handling all the negotiations. It seems they have relationships with, or know, a majority of the letting companies in London. After finding "the one" house in Richmond we truly couldn't pass-up, they helped put an offer together, gave guidance on how much to offer based on the market and made it happen. We ended up choosing the house in Southwest London with all criteria being met, totally exceeding our expectations. They handled the check-in process and while we had to address a few unforeseeable maintenance issues with the property, they made it very easy, working on our behalf with the letting agent, to ensure all post move-in items were addressed to our satisfaction. From the very outset we were impressed with the knowledge and professional conduct of the initial person who visited. He listened and he knew everything about loft conversions and answered all our questions in detail, with pictures where necessary. A structural engineer came next and he assured us he would deal with a problem we had as we had some cracks in our rear section of the rear wall. The plumbing team removed the tanks in our loft and fitted a new boiler before the loft conversion began, this all went very smoothly and the team were very efficient. The whole process was well conducted and amazing whirlwind which began with the plans and 3d visuals, then the loft team arrived who built the loft in four weeks. The loft team, Chris and Matt were so polite, courteous, accommodating and got over any issues without any sharp intakes of breath. The plasterers were also very good and all the different trades knew each other very well which made us feel more relaxed as the whole company seemed well connected. Overall we are delighted with the loft, it is very well designed and there were lots of added improvements along the way.

There are so many agents in the area that most only had a single house for us to look at, but Winkworth had a number of properties of interest to us. I chose two of them for a viewing. As it took me a while to get a UK mobile, I ended up calling them on a Tuesday morning at 10.30am, and they were able to meet me to view both properties from 11.15 to 12pm. Very fast on such short notice, especially considering the fact that many of the agents we contacted never got back to us at all, even after multiple attempts, so Winkworth stood out as very responsive with excellent customer service. Both properties were excellent, and Sean did a great job answering my questions and explaining the neighborhood and the various features of the house. Although we ended up choosing a different property in the end, we viewed a total of 15 houses and Winkworth's two properties were -both- in our Top 3, so that speaks very well for the agency.
