So I went in to see brad about a year ago to see about getting a tattoo done that i'd wanted for a length of time, when I first went in I thought wow this place looks clean and very respectable! The tattoo that I wanted brad quoted me a price of $80.00 which is fairly cheap considering the fact that Before i went into here I went into bad kitties down the road and they quoted me about 180.00 on up for this same tattoo. A lot of people told me before I went to see brad that cheap price usually means a horrible looking tattoo, They were so wrong! It was perfectly straight and centered and exactly what i asked for! I'm so glad I went with him! Regardless of other peoples reviews (clearly some people dont know how to use there brain when writing reviews) I put 100% truth into this one! Brad will always be our tattoo artist! You will never, EVER see us going anywhere but to him. We live an hour away and drive out especially to see him! His office is clean, professional, and very easy to find! Brad himself is very nice, friendly, respectful, and professional. He is very easy to trust (which is what you want for your tattoo artist, right?). Brad is also very talented and can do anything you ask him to do with care and ease. He is a perfectionist and will only provide work that is quality. They always say, you get what you pay for.. but this is not the case with Brad! We will not go anywhere else because for us, Brad has proven himself with both myself and my husband's tattoos (he has 7, all by Brad). Would not recommend this tattoo place. Brad is very unprofessional. We went in to use a coupon for three for 40.00 small tattoo's. We were all pretty happy but I did notice at first he would slam all other tattoo places when we were talking. He seemed a little put off that he was doing these little tattoo's. But once we got started he seemed to be fine. We were pretty happy with these simple tattoo's. One girl needed her touched up couple weeks later so we called and said by any chance would you honor that coupon again if we have three more of us. He said yes. So we made appointment for a Saturday. We showed up and he wasn't there. I texted him and said we are here for our appointment. He said oh sorry I am out of town and put you down for the wrong weekend. He asked for a date we could come back, I said how about Monday at 4:30 he said I am normally off that day but will come in since this was my mistake. Perfect so we figured accidents happen no biggie. So we showed up that Monday. When we walked in he just looked at us and said in a snarky voice how can I help you. I said we are here for our appointment he said oh ya right. He asked my husband what do you want. My husband said I just need this hand print shaded in. Brad said ok. He asked me what do you want. I pulled up pintrinst and showed him these little birds to go on the side on my hand. He rolled his eyes and said I hate doing birds I am always doing birds to reference something. I just looked at him. He said you will be judge differently if you get them there. Soccer moms just don't get tattoos on their hands. I was thrown back. Didn't know if I should be offended I was called a soccer mom or maybe I should listen to his advice. So I did the second. I pulled up my second choice which was simple. It was going on my wrist and I wanted it the same size as the one on my other wrist to even each other out. I said do you need this pic to draw it he said no he can find it online which he did. He drew it up and handed to me. I only noticed the size at first and asked if he could make it smaller to match the size of my other one. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to reduce it. When he gave it back he said I am not going any smaller, which I thought was little rude since it's my tat. I than notice the font of the word that read faith. It was nothing like the picture. I said can you make the writing softer and more slanted like the picture He grab the paper out of my hands rolled his eyes and sighed. I said you know what this is a permanent thing going on my body I think it's important to have it the way I want it. He handed me back a new picture. I don't think he even adjusted it. I just looked at him. He said whose first. My friend that was getting the touch up went in first. I looked at my husband and said I'm not doing it this looks nothing like the picture. My husband said he agreed I waited for Brad to be done with the touch up on my friend and proceeded to tell him we are not staying that he has a horrible attitude and we will not be giving him any of our money even if it's 40 apiece for three people. He said I didn't have a bad attitude I said yes you did. You acted out out because I wanted you to fix something. I said you are tattooing people and it's on there for life so you should make sure people are happy before you tattoo them. He said sorry you feel that way. This man is so unprofessional it's horrible. You don't slam other tattoo places regardless what you may personally think. My advice to you Brad is if you don't like doing soccer mom tattoo's don't advertise a tattoo for 40.00. Good luck having a successful business with your attitude and art work. Took $100, and didn't do the work. Didn't do the drawing, hadn't even altered the drawing that I had done for the tattoo. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Brad is an amazing tattoo artist! My former tattoo artist that I used to see, got really careless with the outline of my tattoo about a year ago, and he really messed it up to the poing that I no longer go to him and did not want him to fix it. About 5 months ago I went into brad's shop and showed him my tattoo. He was very respectful, polite, and knew exactly how he could fix my ruined tattoo. It took 2 seperate sessions to finish my tattoo and the cost was so affordable, and now it is absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for a better tattoo!! I still have more work that I would like done and am going back to Newberg tattoo for it! read more
