I got chrome white on natural nails (gel). All of the staff were really friendly and the nail stylist paid great attention to detail in making sure the nails looked smooth and high quality. The salon was very clean and fresh, making for an all round great experience! read more

Having just moved to Guildford from New York, I was really optimistic when I spotted a small nail place on one of the cute passages off North St. Unfortunately, it was awful. The foot tubs must not have been used in a while because there were dirt particles floating in the water, and the technician scalded my leg when she physically forced my feet in the bath. After jerking them out of the hot water and almost kicking her in the face, she proceeded to push them back in until I asked her to feel the temperature herself. A day later, my calf is still bright red and painful. Once I noticed that the tools weren't sterilized in any kind of disinfectant, I had to yell at the technician not to use the razor, as she wouldn't have asked otherwise. No sterilization of the cuticle cutters either. Is this normal?! Throughout the entire manicure, my hands felt dirty - typical of really sloppy technicians that don't properly wipe off the cuticle oil and filing dust. While my nails look fine as they are painted, it was absolutely not worth the $35, the pain and the aggravation. I was in a rush and just wanted to remove my gel polish so i saw that little place and went inside. My first impression was not good: small shabby place, with 4 Asian technicians working on their small tables with no gloves and a very obvious lack of cleanliness and hygiene. However as i really needed to remove my gel i went ahead and asked one girl if she had time for me and in bad English she told me to take a seat next to her current client. As soon as she finished with her client without even washing her hands she moved to my table. I noticed they were using electric nail files (to save them time) which i personally despise as i find that they destroy the nails. After she placed the acetone on my nails she must have waited maybe 20seconds and she removed the aluminium foil to start removing the gel. Obviously that was not enough time (another client had just walked in and she wanted to be done with me fast) and she couldn't remove completely the gel using the metallic pusher so she went for the electric file! I politely asked her to use a hand file and not electric which she did but not with a pleasure and with mumbling things in her language! During the time that she was doing my nails another technician sat to the next table starting with the new client. In my surprise i saw that he took the same metallic tool that my technician used on me without sterilising it!!!! I was dreading the thought that maybe the same tool was used for at least 10 women before me!!!!! After i left i went straight to buy a steriliser to wipe my hands and nail cuticles! I wouldn't advise anyone to go to that place and to please make sure you tell all your friends not to ever go there!!!! read more

I had my nails done on Tuesday 12th Dec paid £35 and they are terrible! They have started to lift off all ready after just 3 days! The nail technician was sniffing the whole time and blowing his nose, had to tell him to wash hands before touching mine again! Very rude people do not even make a conversation with you! Would not recommend to anyone and would never go back to waste my money again! read more

The WORST place to get nails done, if you want to throw your money down the drain go to this nail salon. Was advised to get sns because it was better for nails but wasn't told they werent good for nail extensions so they lasted only a week, went back to get 2 nails fixed then the next day another snapped off to which I asked for a refund a was spoken to very rudely by the manager who said I would have to pay for the next one that snapped off because it was something I was doing wrong even though I heard one of the other ladies who worked there tell another customer that sns wasn't good for nail extensions I have also been get acrylic nails for years which usually last me 3-4 weeks so know pretty well how to look after fake nails. 35 quid down the drain and another 30 in petrol going to and Fro. Absolutely horrendous customer service, wouldnt step foot in the place again. The boss is a massive just rude with no people skills what's so ever and is just out right horrible and arrogant who doesn't know what quality nails look like of they hit him in the face. Now only 2 days after getting 3 of the nails redone another 4 have come off! Really bad quality and clearly don't know what they are doing, never ever had such a bad experience at any other nail salon. read more
